Great video thanks!! Do you know if the VE 3.0 V6 is susceptible to timing chain issues and have you also heard of the reluctor wheel coming loose? My daughter has a VE OMEGA Sportwagon that has P0017 & P0018 codes as permanent codes. And also more of the same codes. I can clear the non permanent codes and it seems ro run like normal. Next time i start it the same codes log and its down on power. Is this a chain/phaser issue and what do you charge ro do the work? Thanks Kris
I got a vf 3.6 commodore and has p0171 and p0174 fault code getting lean on both bank. I remove this solenoid and i can blow air from different side of this solenoid could this be the issue for my car
It's very likely the issue, if you can blow air it means the valve is stuck open/faulty. Another option unplug the solenoid and use jumper wires (preferably fused) to apply 12 volts from the battery positive terminal and ground from the battery negative terminal to activate the solenoid. how is it posible that Holden service centers sell these for $245, got a quote for one yesterday, and you have them for $75. What would justify the difference in price? Are the ones you sell GM originals?

Whay was result for hp and nm
KW was 34kw at wheel increase and 55Nm from tune only. (45hp at wheels or 66at engine)
I've got P0171 & P0174 codes on my 2016 VF SV6 LFX, checked hoses for intake vacuum leaks and all looks ok. Thinking it could be purge solenoid? Air/Fuel ratio at 14.7 most of the time, dips around 14.3 at start and then returns to 14.7 after a few seconds. Can't hear any odd noises from solenoid. I'm fearing it could be fuel injectors but that looks very tricky and I may need to take it to a workshop for replace/clean fuel injectors, or could it be coil packs/spark plugs, any thoughts?
AFR if you are measuring it will always correct to 14.7 because your fuel trims adjust to reach stoich value of 1. Those codes are usually to do with purge but could also be related to clogged cats, fuel system and a lot of other variables. Purge is easiest to check and replace.

Does this new updated one still have the RPM hold function? by holding the up arrow?
No removed it, we have launch now. RPM was causing some issues so we put a launch mode instead

Stock usually 120-125kw at the wheels

I do all of my own tuning and have for 15yrs+ , I'll keep my comments to myself about that tune but that's Dog 💩.....Gd work mate and your right you tune a conventional Port injected setup totally different than Direct Injection and yeah can run em a tad leaner 13.0/13.2 But as you know every combo is different in regards to fuel and timing ..

The purge solenoid for the VE commodore looks almost exactly the same as the VZ solenoid but the VZ one is like $70 on eBay while I have found the VE one for like $22. Is there actually a difference in the 2 or are VZ owners just being had? lol
Be careful on eBay. Genuine for $22 = not genuine and a Chinese copy. Most of them don’t work and throw a P0422 code. Watch this video to see what they look like. To answer your question VE can be used on VZ.
@@REVHIGHTUNINGSOLUTIONS All the $22ish ones on ebay are for the VE V6 and range from $16-27 but the VZ ones that honestly look almost identical are 3x that price for some reason, that's confusing since the motors are like 99% the same lol A genuine AC Delco part is around $80 for the VE and the VZ, these prices are confusing as hell because AC Delco is/was in hot water about their parts being made in China and not in the US as claimed by GM. So if the $22 part is technically the same as the $80 one and they're all made in the same place. why not go with the cheap one lol

@@Alpha-Shen Understand, but they are 100% Bosch, we don't recommend the clones due to issues we had here with a few customers.
Mutable timing cams. Fail. Left and right. Do not commicate to each other. A flow. Put tension on the main chain. One tight one lose. Its a software ware problem. Not the chain .!!!!! Loss yess now upload. (

Hi guys I recently bought a VE with the LF1 engine. On hot idle I have a P0172 code and fuel trim is -30% on bank 2 -10% on bank 1. I have read the HPFP leaking into the oil could be the culprit but I’m hoping it may just be this purge valve? What do you think, cheers.
HPFP can be a culprit but usually fuel trims are same bank to bank if its HPFP. Might be injector or worn camshaft/vvt gear.
