You could do that just as fast with a fucking sledgehammer don’t claim you’ve got the fastest forester mulcher because you’re grinding on it 4000-year-old dead stump. Go grind up a freshly fallen oak tree and then tell me you’re the fastest mulcher.

That implement has a maximum horse power rating of 35. I'm surprised it held up as well as it did with that oversized tractor pulling it. That's the equivalent of putting a 4 foot cheater pipe on a quarter inch ratchet, and then complaining when it breaks. I'm sure this isn't high quality material, and the price of the implement reflects that as well. I'm surprised it held up as long as it did.

O57-4 was a simpler but less refined machine - arguably a better purchase for a long term buy for a homesteader or small contractor with less emissions nonsense affecting reliability.

Would it help if a "skid plate" was placed just below the cross bar to keep built up ground from pushing against it ? What would happen if a cutting bevel was placed along whole vertical leading edge of ripper ?

I have a stump I'm going to work on turning into a flower pot for my wife. I think I'm going to use the chain blade. It also comes in 22T.

I destroyed one also. CAT 1 40hp. I just destroyed all the angle iron crap used to hold it together. The actual big ass beefy bar is still good enough so I'm going to weld it to a QA plate. Might end up paying my dumbass tax, but we'll see.

This mulcher clearly isn't meant for big stumps, hence why it's used for forestry mulching and not stump grinding
