Genie Slab Scissor Emergency Down Procedure
Excellent video! Will show my colleagues!
Hi Lance, Hi Jason! Happy New Year to you both and your families as well! Great video!!! Thankyou so much. I don't know why all manufacturers are not required to have an emergency operators relief valve in the basket on every machine made? I currently am getting in a manlift and I watched many videos on TH-cam about them and nobody ever covered the topic of pushing and steering the lift manually to make a turn! I work alone on my jobs so I do not have a reliable ground person to help. Thankyou Jason for verbally explaining and physically demonstrating the floor jack method. My sales rep had no idea when I asked? I have decided to carry onboard a portable escape ladder and a floor jack just in case? Thanks again guys . Be safe and be well!
That emergency down procedure is as useless as tits on a nun if there's no one else there to pull the handle.
When you pumped the brake on the back, is there anything you need to do to set it back to normal ? Will the machine not function normal if the valve is pressed in like you did before pumping the brake? Are you really just releasing the hydraulic pressure in the brake or the entire lift?
Those are awesome. Where do you get them printed? We want to order some for our company...
