Thank you. This was our training ride before our Baguio ride. Based on my experience, the country roads in South Luzon esp in Batangas and Cavite is safer for cycling than those in North Luzon.

@@jogratscycling6540 , Maybe they’re not accustomed to cyclists and the roads are narrow and lots of switchbacks. Hey, What’s the weather temperature when your group rides, I know Philippines is warm. How is your collarbone from Baguio incident?

@@larryt90745 The temp is between 30°C-38°C June-Feb. But in summer days it can get up to 44°C. We usually avoid cycling when it gets too hot. As for my collarbone, I had surgery 2 weeks ago and im still nursing it. I got 1 plate and 8 screws to it. Im looking around 6-12 months recovery. Thank you for asking. 🙏

Yung tatlo sa amin may backpack pero jersey at charger lang ang laman. The rest ng kailangan binibili na namin sa stop over. Yung isang rider namin may malaking backpack para partida sa amin (elite cyclist kasi) hahaha.

@@monciar hindi din po pwede bike nung pumunta kami. Pero baka ok na ngayon kasi almost 1 month na.

Total of 3 days. It took us 2 days to reach Baguio City (315kms) from Cavite/Manila. Supposedly, the 3rd day was to ride around Baguio city itself but was cut short due to my accident. Other hardcore cyclists can ride this in 24 hours straight.

@@jogratscycling6540 , sorry about your accident. You guys are good riders specially going up Marcos Hwy that’s some serious mountain climbing.

@@larryt90745 Thank you. That Marcos climb was so tough especially that last 3kms. It may not the steepest but it was the longest and excruciating climb we did.

excruciating BUT in the end years from now those excruciating hill climbs is what you and your team will be talking about and relishing those moments of pain climbing the mountains. my riding buddies and i always talk about the difficult suffering hill climbs, we rarely talk about the easy part of the rides. LOL.
