A Night of Belly Dance for the People of Palestine. Saturday November 23rd 2024 at Paradiso.

Last Saturday at the Paradiso over $3000 was raised to help the Palestinians, through the donated time of several belly dance troops, and the donated space and staff of Paradiso, and of course the generous donations from a packed house of local community. Great thanks to all! 🙏❤️

Hillary Smith and her Chillhouse blues band brought down the house last Friday night! You could feel the electricity and Santa Fe’s biggest Dance floor was filled nonstop with ecstatic dancers. She loves Paradiso and has now committed to a once a month celebration of life here at Paradiso, alternating her blues band and jazz band, jazz band coming up December 12th! Don’t miss it!

A Milton Nascimento composition… the whole show was excellent & it was great hearing rarely-covered Miles material (‘Lonely Fire’) as well as rarely-heard non-Miles-associated pieces like this & ‘Nommo’. Bravo!
