ive been vegetarian my whole life and i dont really see the appeal in eating stuff thats made to be as close to real meat as possible, i feel like it almost defeats the purpose since i would just feel like im eating literal meat (even if some of it isnt actually close to the real thing but i dont really have a comparison for that lol), like some quorn stuff yeah is nice but then they have like chicken flavoured stuff and i just avoid it just because the idea of that doesnt make sense personally and i dont like the idea of tasting something i dont want to even if its not the literal meat, feels like cheating a system i dont even like to begin with
