I know this is a bit late in coming, but it's still worth saying. Those explaining the tuning have forgotten one other string that needs to be changed. Yes, tune the 6th string to a C, yes, tune the 5th string to a G. But, ALSO tune the first string to a D. Then, when playing the intro, the first and third strings are plucked together. I mentioned this to the guy from which jimmymise got his comment. But, that guy deleted my comment. Anyway, just try it and you'll see what I mean. This song is ageless and by all means my favorite Restless Heart tune. And, the intro is killer - it must be played 100% right! :-)

Back in the day, I used to carry many different guitars but now I just usually carry one due to travel restrictions. Sometimes Larry will rap a little while and I'll quickly tune the guitar to what I need. Another person online says this: Tune guitar down to an open G, then capo the 2nd fret. Finally, take the lowest string and drop it to a low D. The harmonics are done at the 14th, 9th, and 7th frets, i believe.
For the rest of us who are not as advanced as you are as a musician but love Restless Heart and the guitar playing of Greg Jennings, would it be too much to ask as to what tuning you're using?? Tried double drop d but obviously not right.
