We still don’t know how Brandon found out about Lyanna going off with Rhaegar and why he thought it was an abduction. They had carefully and secretly planned their meeting and had gone someplace safe actually in Dorne’s so his wife probably knew what he was doing and he had her blessing. The running theory is that Brandon ran into peter Baelish, and he framed the story as an abduction because he knew that, for the first time he had some power to manipulate things to wind up in death and chaos for persons, he considered his enemies. I would wager this is how first got a taste for these types of manipulations.

Honestly Roberts “love” for Lyanna always felt very shallow, he only wanted her because she was unattainable. He knew deep down she wasn’t interested even though she was promised to him and at that time he was incredibly handsome, strong, noble. All of the women wanted him but Lyannaand I’m sure that drove him crazy especially after she died it fueled his delusions that she was his soulmate and another man took him from her and she will forever be out of reach.

People don’t realize house baratheon and Targaryen are the same in a way Aegon the Conqueror and Orys Baratheon was blood brothers they had the same father but Orys Baratheon was a bastard and aegon made him legit and gave him storms ends so it’s house Targaryen just with a different name

I knew that Jon snow was Lyanna's son before starting Game of thrones, but when the baby's face cuts to Jon's, with the background music, it literally gave me chills

This is just proof that Rhaegar was, like his whole Family, a terrible and dishonorable man who stole Robert's Love and betrayed his own Wife...Robert's Rebellion and the destruction of his Family was Rhaegar's own fault and he got what he deserved when Robert smashed him to pulp. They should've had Lyanna find out what Rhaegar's Father did to her Family and leave him...cause it was his fault to begin with.
