The sad thing is that if you look at Vladimir’s design and consider Volk is undamaged you can get an idea of how the man died. The frayed cords were probably meant to be a tether to tie you to the ship during a spacewalk, as well as supply you with oxygen from the ship. Vladimir was out doing a spacewalk and one thing led to another and he got this tether cut, leaving Volk undamaged but him to be killed by oxygen starvation. It’s scary because considering how much debris is flying up in orbit because of satellites, this could happen at any time today, if it hasn’t already and we’re just not told.

Just imagine: This is probably what Galeem and/or Dharkon made Lucas experience mentally for probably the entire duration of his capture during World of Light.

I love how No More Heroes flirts with supernatural- in second game you fight two ghosts, as far as I recall, the Captain Vladimir and that killer with a flamethrower, both are kept in as killers due to either unfinished want- that killers want to murder - or not realizing they passed away and are finally where they wanted to be- this is the case for Vladimir.

Not as good as the other version, but this one still has plenty of charm to it, just in a different way.

You are completely missing "Fight with Seymour" which is an absolute banger of a boss battle theme. Easily one of the catchiest themes. It deserves to stand right with the best of them in any best boss theme list.

Until the last portion of his health, Vladimir's shield protects him from frontal attacks. Get behind him. At low health, Vladimir will occasionally fire a mega-laser from the sky. Avoid this at all costs, it cannot be blocked, and if it hits Travis, you're done.

Optimus outro theme

FF8 may be one of the weaker in the series in terms of gameplay and story. But no one can deny that is has an amazing soundtrack, possibly the best in the entire series. I also like Force Your Way, Premonition, and Legendary Beast, along with The Extreme. When I replay FF8, the music is one of the top reasons why.
