Cool idea, i think it's possible to sometimes save CPU / hassle of using 2 gates by only using one. Take 1 gate and connect it to 2 places, your processing chain for the gated material, and another where you first invert it's phase, like with stereo shaper in FL, and then mix that together with the audio before the gate. This subtracts the gate from the signal, leaving only what's gated away. In a noise gate, this is a clean process where the audio after separating would null with the original, but since this is FFT based it's not so clean. So if you isolate the harmonics with the gate, the result using inverted phase will be more tonal than if you were to use a second gate to isolate noise. But sometimes this might not be relevant, or could even be desirable

I'm curious, what are the lyrics to this track? I've listened to it numerous times, yet I still haven't figured it out. This is what I hear: "Keep your head on straight Ain't no better day Writing for my life I (Inaudible) to write" That last line might be "I don't know what to write," because that's the title. But it sounds too distorted for me to make it out. Either way, those vocals are pretty!

Just discovered you last Friday with this release on Spotify. Some elements of this track remind me of a track I like: "Bloom" by Lois. It also feels like something a band would perform, if only as a cover. In any case, I have listened to this a handful of times since its release, so that's a sign I like it quite a bit!
