Jesus the Great I AM
Our Lord Jesus Christ is God. He always has been, and He always will be. In John 1:1-3 we see that nothing was made without Him. He ever liveth and He is the only way to eternal life.
When Moses asked God what His Name was, He said, I AM that I AM. And in the Gospel according to Saint John, our Lord Jesus made seven I AM statements, all of which tell us that He is GOD.
I AM the bread of life - John 6:35, 41, 48, 51
I AM the light of the world - John 8:12, 9:5
I AM the door - John 10:7
I AM the good shepherd - John 10:11, 14
I AM the resurrection and the life - John 11:25
I AM the way, the truth, and the life - John 14:6
I AM the true vine - John 15:1, 5
The mighty God put on flesh and blood so that He could come down to earth as the sinless sacrificial Lamb of God, and take away the sin of His people.

It is wonderful that Jesus can be found throughout the whole Bible. In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. And the Word was made flesh and dwelt among us. Jesus is the Word of God.

Wonderful sermon. It's tragic to see what happened in the US. Same terrible pattern throughout the Israel world...😭 In 1961 the new Republican Constitution of South Africa stated that God is true Head of State and that the country's laws needs to be in-line with God's Law. That was South Africa's golden age of prosperity and greatness. Look at what we have become!!!😭😭😭

Unfathomable is what has been accomplished by God in Calvary, summed up in Christ's words "It is finished." The Book of Hebrews attests to this. Ezekiel's vision of the temple was a conditional prophecy that foretells Israel's lot if they repented of their sins (Ez. 43: 6 and following, especially vv. 9-11) However, Israel didn't repent and even crucified their Messiah. Thus, Christ told them that "the kingdom shall be taken away from you and be given to a people, bearing its fruit." But it was God's sovereign plan all along - to include Gentiles in the Israel of God, which includes Abel, Noah, Job, Rahab, and others, who were Gentiles according to the flesh but who are of the same faith as Abraham's, the father of us all. God's promise to Abraham was given to him as a Gentile. He simply received the outward manifestation of it through circumcision. Indeed God doesn't contradict Himself. May we learn to practice Sola Scriptura and Tota Scriptura for a deeper and more holistic understanding of God's truths His Person. 🙏😇
Before listening to your sermon during the online conference sponsored by Matthew Dyer, my wife and I had not heard of you or listened to your sermons. We are impressed by the sermon you just gave on the Godly family. As a husband and a father, the only thing I'd like to add is how important the roll of a Godly father is. You mentioned a few times of people sharing their memories of what their mothers had said as Godly mothers. Where are the fathers? I can answer this partially because I as a father was "missing in action." I felt my primary roll was in providing financially, but failed to do my spiritual roll. Father's need to lead by example and not let others take that roll. I learned too late about my primary roll needing to be a spiritual one, and my children are suffering because of this. I blame myself for their lack of leadership. Looking forward to listening to more of your sermons!
Amen! The father is the backbone and strength of the home, or he at least should be, and we have covered this topic in other videos. The word ‘husband’ comes to us from an old Saxon word, which means ‘house bond’, or, that which holds the house, or family, together. Men have slowly relinquished their God ordained place in the home, and the evil doers have certainly facilitated our decline in a big way. With things going the way they are in the world today, it is so important that men get back to being men, and women get back to being women. I invite you to go to our TH-cam home page and search for messages about fathers and mothers and the home. Welcome aboard and God bless!
I was in church on the day this sermon was delivered. It happened to be Mother’s Day, thus the particular mention of the mother. Pastor Kemble often encourages men in their roles in family life. I would encourage you to take up your responsibilities as the father even if time has passed and your children are grown. It is never too late to show the difference the Lord has made in your life.

I'm pretty sure my pastors would say that Jesus is king forever now and he qualifies as the line of David so there are no more earthly Israelite kings. But they also believe Js are descended from Israel and we are not, and they gloss over the "you and your seed FOREVER" parts of God's promises while calling Christians "spiritual descendants".

There are many unscriptural teachings out there, but God tells us clearly in His Word, “I have made a covenant with my chosen, I have sworn unto David my servant, Thy seed (descendants) will I establish for ever, and build up thy throne to all generations,” and “My covenant will I not break, nor alter the thing that is gone out of my lips. Once have I sworn by my holiness that I will not lie unto David. His seed shall endure for ever, and his throne as the sun before me. It shall be established for ever as the moon, and as a faithful witness in heaven. Selah.” Psalms 89:3-4, 34-37 After King Zedekiah, the Throne of David made its trek to the isles, where there has remained active ever since. It is this Throne that Christ will come and rule upon. The Bible tells us that our Lord Jesus Christ “. . . shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David: And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end.” Luke 1:32-33 “. . . and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.” Isaiah 9:6-7 Jesus has not yet been given the Throne of David, but it WILL HAPPEN and there is an appointed time for it to happen. See Daniel 2:44 At that time our Lord Jesus Christ shall be KING OF KINGS and LORD OF LORDS! 1 Timothy 6:15, Revelation 17:14, 19:16 And we will all cast our crowns at His feet.
