I Brought A Piano To The River
River Flows in You by Yiruma (Piano Cover). This was the first song I ever fully learned to play on the piano. A truly beautiful piece by the wonderful composer & pianist, Yiruma. This song will be the first one I've played on the piano in almost 1 year.
I hope you enjoy my cover of this masterpiece.

    To everyone who has wondered where I’ve been, sorry for my long absence. Creating content and making music has always been a passion that I’ve wanted to pursue, but some life situations happened that caused me to step away. I’ll be making a return this October everyone! New content, better equipment, and more consistent uploads and interactions with everyone. Peace and love to everyone… see you soon!

    Just so you know, you can use a single beam X-stand with this type of keyboard. If you like a Z-stand or you have one already, of course you can use it. But you can buy a low-cost X-stand and it will be adequate.

      Most definitely, I went a little above and beyond with this setup 😅

      @@AustinCollins_YT I acquired two single beam X-stands by buying two used 61-kley arranger keyboards. Sold both of them to one person and kept one of the stands, which I am now using with my Casio CT-S1. I wanted acoustic piano emulation and I have in both my 88 key digital keyboard and the CT-S1. It's a great keyboard at the price point, but people have to consider what they want and need. The CT-S1 has great tone, a nearly semi-weighted action and no distracting features. One guy online has been vociferous about the Roland E-X10 arranger, which he claims is superior to all low price 61-key digital keyboards. It is really cheap and it probably is good for its purpose. But I doubt it is better than all other keyboards. I think he's just one of those guys who likes getting people to roll over for him.

    I’m getting the same keyboard and stand tomorrow. That’s awesome that you made a video showing what it’ll look like. I did a ton of research on keyboards and it was either $300 for this with the Bluetooth adapter or $600 for a Roland FP-10 full sized keyboard. It was an easy choice. I’d rather have something portable. The Casio ct-s1 has the ability to play notes soft or hard. That’s what makes it the best in the price range, and the cheapest best option. The semi weight keys are not ideal but it’s cheaper and portable. 61 good tones with variations is more than enough. Having 100s of extra tones that you’ll never use is pointless. I’m going to use either Piano Marvel or Playground Sessions Apps to learn with. I guess you didn’t go that route. Do you still play around with it? Do you find the keys have enough resistance.

    bro, do you have any idea what are those 2 rubber bands in a small plastic zip bag are for? that small plastic bag is visible at 2:21, on the top of the note stand

    Is this a midi controller or is a electric piano ? I woul like to know if it works for street performance?

    • @AustinCollins_YT
      @AustinCollins_YT ปีที่แล้ว

      It's an electric piano. The Casio CT-S1 has a standard power cable and an option for batteries. So this would be perfect for street performance!

    I agree with the emotion, the piano hits the most different though. I would also recommend grabbing your self an 88 weighted keyboard. Like a Yamaha p125 or something.

    This keyboard looks so good. Btw how do you connect this to a laptop and get recordings ? Are there any special softwares ( like FL studio) ?

    • @AustinCollins_YT
      @AustinCollins_YT ปีที่แล้ว

      Casio makes a Bluetooth audio adapter that plugs into the back of the keyboard that allows you to sink your piano to another device. I’m sure this would allow you to play the audio into a software such as FL studio.
