Mage tower is active atm?

I wish so much nerf mage tower

So where is the quest? What is Mage Tower? Legion Timewalking in my world is just queueing for random dungeons. So how do I even get started on this? This is why I actually watched the video.

Great guide! For anyone trying this, I can't stress how important the consumables are, they make it so easy. Before using consumables I was consistently dying to phase 1 as I just didn't have the DPS before I got overwhelmed by infernals and adds. After getting all the consumables I two shot it. Night and day difference!

For some reason it takes like 5 moonfires to kill the little guys, not sure why...

I beat it on a Ele Shaman wearing 608 ilvl pvp gear with tons of vers. Just have to stay disciplined. Dot damage will kill him I saved all spenders for the add

I did try for 50 times and never killed him lol :)

This was challenging but did this on my ww monk with healer brann, so since I was on my monk using touch of death on the egg was a no brainer & I also had the trinket from Queen ansurek so didn't need to worry too much about the egg since it died quickly ideally if ToD is on cd hitting the egg a few times to like 60% then popping the trinket to only have the 1 min cd instead of the 2mins was crucial. The spittle can be removed with tiger lust so no dot on me, also having macros for both the egg & the heal to interrupt helped me get through, it took 50+ attempts to come up with the solution that got me through & thus the let me solo him achievement 😮‍💨👍

To me it was just being disciplined. I got him to 1.5% and panicked spending all of my earth shocks trying to finish him. He didn’t die and I had no maelstrom left for the add and died. The kill I got I ended up killing him with a little frost shock for 100k damage lol. I killed him with full maelstrom because I wasn’t making that mistake again. You could legit let a single dot kill him while you do mechanics and save all of your spenders and cds for the add

Not every class and spec can solo him, its very limited to certain classes

FINALLY DID IT!!!! Used an arcane build but follow your steps and it worked. Thanks a lot. Btw, one thing that helped me was to ignore the first annihilate. Cus otherwise I would not have the defensives for the third one. Thanks a lot!!!

I remember doing this back in Legion with sub optimal gear. Them were the days!!! Man Its a lot easier do to gear scaling with 4 expansions later. When Mage tower first dropped. Took me weeks to clear it on my Bear

Pfft... ask them not to kill you sounds great on paper, but it doesn't usually work. I always seem to spend the whole time running from some psychotic player who chases me down across the entire map, and all I wanna do is collect plunder. The new plunderstore model is great, though - much easier to collect items now than it was going by level the first time around. Just run around and grab as much gold piles as you can before the psychos get ya.

Great guide as someone who never mained a warrior only done it in low keys you made the fight ez I did the challenge on unholy b4 which was easier btw mostly cause I main unholy in ksh and aotc min. Each tier took me 37 attempts in trash gear.

I have a question. My regular gear is higher than the PVP gear. When NOT in a battleground, is it better to do regular quests in war mode with my higher level non PVP gear, or does the "regular" gear go up when in war mode too? Hope this makes sense.

This is ridiculous. Even after interrupting the cast of the Nether Horrors, they almost one shot me afterwards. Also, with so many ads I can barely be hitting Variss. I don't understand how you manage to hit him so often and with so much more damage than what I can even aspire to do. I need at least 4 moonfires to kill the eyes, let alone the infernals. When a player is fighting the game instead of actually having fun playing it, is just bad design. This is not a tanking challenge. Is more crowd control than anything else. A good tanking challenge would be managing defensives and healings while being hit by a boss, not managing a collection of ads, all doing everything for you to not actually handling the boss and down him.
