An interesting thing about this piece is that different parts are panned. If you listen to this through headphones, the left headphone plays a constant drone throughout the whole piece, and doesn’t play anything else that isn’t also played in the right headphone. The right headphone plays everything else, including buried tones and samples that are otherwise drowned out by the drone on the left side. For this reason, although I already liked this piece to start with, I enjoy listening to it more just through the right side because it’s more of a shifting, detailed, and varied journey.

I wanna nerd out here for a second, video essay type stuff, put into a comment. This track, makes me feel what i felt when i heard Leyland Kirbys 's Everywhere At The End Of Time and Have A Nice Life's Deathconsciousness. This track, all be it simple, carries the tone of looming disaster and unease. Much like the before mentioned works, this track, this whole album envokes a sensation of unbridled dread. Yet, it brings a feeling of peace, similar to the end of a good book, game, or movie, where you are left speechless, staring at that blank screen or back of a book. In a similar note, like how I and possibly many imagine death to feel. The feeling of "there's nothing left", an absence of sound, an absence of events to upend the ambient droning. I may add more to this silly little essay later, but i just wanted to air my thoughts, mainly for myself. If you read, thank you.
