Hello the saponification value for palm oil is 0.142 and palmolein is 0.143. I put palmolein only.

If am using palm oil I will calculate by 0.142 or if am palmolein I will use 0.143.

Also, google says SAP value for palm is higher than palmolien, so I'm a bit confused.

@@SAARHandcraftedSoaps oh ok. Does it stop sweating after its fully cured? I stored mine in airtight boxes and dry them with a cloth every week or so

No it doesn't stop the sweat in Salt Soap after cure. I keep under the fan in an open space. Every time I see the sweat I just wipe with dry cloth or dry tissue. I don't have issues with other soap only salt soap sweat even after cure.

Hi. I have added stearic Acid-30g. And without alcohol you can do just by adding 5gms of extra glycerine.

Hello. Each recipe will be different depending on what oil & butters are used. Different oil & butters require an amount of lye to saponify. There is SAP value for all oils. If you search in google you will get the chart.Thank you.

I will use 120ml of Rice Bran oil and 120ml of coconut oil. How much superfat will be good for a bathing soap with those oils. I want my soap to be like not too drying not too oily. I want More like Lux soap. How much lye should I use?? Please help 😢

Hello. For this recipe Coconut oil -120g Rice bran oil -120g Water-70g Lye-35g Superfat-7% I have calculated the superfat. And gave a recipe. And our soap will not be like lux soap which is full of chemicals. Coldprocesssoap will be made only with oil and lye. So it will be nourishing. Thank you

Hello Sunita.If your using honey or milk or any puree which is having lots of sugars your soap may overheat. If you feel the soap is heating put it in the fridge or freezer for a few hours.Thank you.

Hello Sunita. What I do is 'I wipe the sweat with dry tissue & leave the soap under the fan for a few hours.And don't leave the soap in a closed area.Make sure the room is well ventilated.Then I pack my soaps after 35 days. Thank you and if this tip was useful please let me know... 😊
