The inquest regarding Marian’s disappearance are available online. It seems Marian had a lot of responsibility looking after her siblings as well as many other chores which may have been overwhelming for her at 13. In this document it also says her Mum was a drinker. No sign of her since. I’m hoping she’s still alive somewhere, somehow and managed to escape to find a better life. So sad. 😢

This sort of show should be on instead of Reno and cooking shows. Shows like this and missing persons can help. Reality shows are a waste of space in my opinion

You CANNOT REPORT ANON. I did and they knew who i was. I hid my number because of a dv case. Cops went into my place and some money from under my bed. My last 4yrs savings 2500/3000. GONE. it's so funny hearing people in the comments call abba demonic. I think if you heard a black metal song it would actually kill you. didn't know abba was demonic, I'll be looking out for abba CDs next time I'm in a record shop. <3 seriously though, he's a normal person. he's allowed to listen to fun pop music if he wants. let's stop holding each other to impossible standards like this, no good can come of it.

My whole childhood

While i ADORE the late Tony morphett's writing for the later episodes of this season (the best humor of the whole series can be found in his episodes), i have to wonder at that awkward line with Jo talking about hunting and animal extinction. 😂 It just comes out of nowhere! I'm super glad it doesn't take over the plot like in the seal clubbing episode in season 2, but its brevity makes it even more weird. 😅 Especially because in the novelization they talk about the Russian revolution which at least seems relevant to what the characters are going through (Nick being who he is). But thats okay because i love literally everything else about this episode.

You know, objectively, episode 5 might well be the best episode of this whole series (season 2 included) strictly as a piece of visual media. There's just literally no flaw i can find in this episode. The editing is gorgeous, the shots are beautiful, the writing and acting is all just what it should be. Like even episodes i LOVE, like episode 16, do have moments where it's almost like the writer got confused and thought they were writing for a different show entirely (like when Jo just randomly talks about extinct animals out of nowhere) or some of the fast cuts between certain scenes in various episodes. This one though i think is 100% the show at its peak.

So... I consider myself a HUGE Narnia fan, like insanely obsessed with Narnia as a teen, got into writing because i admired C.S. Lewis so freaking much as a seventeen year old in 2008, and somehow it has taken me this freaking long to realize Jo's Mum is Helen Pevensie from the 2005 Lion, Witch, Wardrobe! How did i miss that!

just the intro to this , it can work for so many different paths of storys and worlds i think that is one of the core reasons why it carved such a deep imprint in my mind back in that mystical age known as ''the 90's''

So much nostalgia! Too bad the second season had completely new characters and an unrelated plot. Would have been great to see them dive further into these characters and develop more storylines for them, by adding something more for them to fix through history - and then they could have kept developing the Tama & Louisa thing, for instance. Store Manager and his deputy (locksbottom) are a pair of primadonna’s not worth near their salary. Staff looked like they wanted to punch the manager when the shelves were empty across the store and he started trying to act like an effective leader. What a presumptuous twat he is, I feel sorry for any of his staff except Sat. I actually can’t believe Sainsburys paid for a training manager who looks and sounds like he’s never stepped on a shop floor in a uniform when the real issue is the management at store-level, not to mention lack of resources. Talk about being completely clueless.
