My son has a Meta Quest 2. He broke the original controllers (the ones w the rings on them). He got a pair of pros for Christmas. I tried to connect them yesterday but all I kept seeing through his headset was a pair of hands that kept telling me to pull a black tab from the bottom of each Pro Controller. They never came with the black tabs. When I opened each box they had one controller. I inserted new batteries, did a factory reset on the headset, etc. Even after a reset it still shows the hands telling me to pull the black tabs. Dont know what else to do

@ Hm it was probably used or slightly damaged because I’ve never had that problem. Did you make sure the batteries were FULLY charged??
@notKuyGuy Yes sir. They were new batteries. It didn't come with a charging pad like I've seen
@ Hm. If they didn’t come with the charging pad, then it’s not rechargeable. Unless you have a different version of those controllers.
mine just ignores the controllers and just go instantly to hand tracking and software is at the newest on my quest 2

If you wondering how this happend, well I was just going mudding and then i went to get my truck cleaned in the water. And before I knew the glitch... that happened (Game is called american plains mudding on Roblox)

The problem that is happening to me is that there is a white light on both controllers but they are just not there. I tried this method and they are still not working. I even factory reseted 2 times and they still don’t work
@@DTBspixxy switch to your old quest 2/3 controllers then connect back to your quest pro controllers. If that doesn’t work then idk
