Programme / program collecting has a long history in UK; more established than cards which is much more recent here. Early FA Cup Final programs can stir sell for $10k+. Program fairs from late 1970s to early 2000s drew great crowds. Prices generally down and fewer collectors now but most soccer collectors in UK aged 40+ are program collectors at heart.

Hi guys, I think I might try to put a book/checklist together for Baines shields. I understand it's a major undertaking, but I'm thinking about it.

I did some digging and couldn't find the distribution method for Baines Shields other than packs (I was corrected in chat, thank you). I am not sure where I pulled that the shields were made to order from, but if I find any more information, I will be sure to share it here and in the discord

In my experience, Goldin has really taken a step back to PWCC in several areas (not saying that PWCC doesn't have its own warts). Their weekly auctions, with the shorter extended bidding windows, are not a good match with the bidding page layout, and I find myself often missing items because of that. Additionally, the transition from Goldin to Collectors Vault has been a mess. For instance, I have items that came over from the Goldin vault that are still mislabelled, and there is no direct way for me to submit an edit request; in addition, items that I won and paid for through Goldin auctions are taking almost 2 weeks to show up in my vault. Would be interested in hearing about the experience others have been having with Goldin.

Di Stefano shirt … LoA from mother of Rony Almeida which was enough to rule me out from bidding for this. Check out Rony selling a “match worn” Messi shirt that was anything but to a well known collector, all documented online. I have Di Stefano’s 1958 & 1960 European Cup medals so would would have bid had I had any substantive confidence in its authenticity, even from a leap of faith perspective.

The 1962 Brazil team card is PABEL BILDERDEINST FUSSBALL-KONIGE WORLD CUP. I currently have the only copy graded by PSA and it's badly undergraded even at a 6. Beautiful card.

Strong Gerd Müller sale! But the gap beetween Gerd Müller and Miroslav Klose ist just insane. Klose scored more goals for germany and hold the prestigious WC goal record.

a factor with how much rarer the foil action shot R9 from voetbal 95 seems to be could be that they didn't appear on the promo sheets, whilst the portrait shots did. May be completely even otherwise
