I like the idea of "everything in one sketchbook" - I used to do that a lot and they are so fun to review on occasion because they are part daily journal along with the art. I particularly like the rabbit and octopus drawings... I love your stickers too! Are you selling those somewhere? Thank you for the update and the interesting walk through thoughts and time!

Such a fun sketchbook tour! I really liked the koi fish!! They are without doubt my favorite as they gripped my attention as soon as you turned the page. I also loved the rabbits at the end and the cat! Although how you can draw anything on public transit is beyond me as its so bumpy - if I am in a car as a passenger I can barely type a text message as the roads are just SO bumpy! And is that a little horse on the back of your sketchbook?? I draw a lot of horses. In fact I was to the ranch today and saw my herd. Poor Claurice had a branch tangled in her mane so we has to catch her to get it out but she didnt want to get caught as the branch was making her nervous. Finally we caught her and got it out. Then I was grooming George.

I looooove your wolf! That's a great idea to signify what your sketchbook is about on the cover - I definitely have "purposes" for the multiple sketchbooks I have going at any one time. Such lovely animal drawings you have! Your line work is incredible - looks effortless. I seem to have had a lot of the same sort of tendencies - the more "comic" style is not a thing I embraced for many years, though I've come to appreciate it over time. I think when it comes to wildlife, we are often anthropomorphizing in drawings (I guess I should say "I" - I shouldn't assume for everyone!) - human traits and emotions are often hard to portray in total realism in an animal - but in a more comic style, you can really bring out an emotion. Love the nature quotes - I'm in full agreement. Get me on a trail and I'll be a happy guy! Lovely, lovely work! I look forward to your next video!

I absolutely am interested in the inherent biases in AI - and I know they are not (always) intentional, but if you're mining data from niche areas - even the internet in general is a small arena compared to all of human experience - these biases creep up. And how that data is interpreted... well, there's a whole 'nother ball of wax. I think AI is a pretty useful tool - siri does a lot of work for me! I've not used it much for generative purposes because I find that a bit creepy, haha! But that too, I think could be a useful tool. As you alluded to - an AI tool could be damaging for a number of reasons. Just as a hammer shouldn't be used to clean your dishes... hm. One of my main concerns is, I don't trust -people- or more specifically, I don't trust -all people that might use AI for selfish purposes- Meh. tough, deep subject. By the way.... your bunnies... I can't figure out for myself if that's funny or sad... probably both. I like the mental challenges you put out there! Great video, as always... sorry I wrote so much. Just typed as I watched the last half...

That AI nightshade tool sounds interesting - my guess is that there will be some sort of "arms race" as far as technologies that "hide" vs those that "seek" - I guess im one of the ones that isn't too bothered by AI in the art arena. I figure that humans are doing essentially the same thing - there's nothing truly "new" but maybe new ways of mixing things or viewing them or where we source our ideas or whatever and I will likely always side on the value of a human artist over a virtual one - but as a tool, I see that there is some value (assuming we all know the method of creation.) I dooooo have a problem with trying to pass AI creation as human creation - a human artist can have intent, and I'm not sure AI can. It's a sticky subject for sure!! Loved your lionfish! That's a fun inking project. thanks for the deep thoughts!

Wow! You have a lot of tools with you! That's awesome - and a good variety, I think. I usually have no real room for more than a small sketchbook and a couple pencils or pens. I do love the brush tipped pens - very versatile! Thumbs up! If I were to make a similar kit, I'd probably add some posca paint pens and maybe a couple shading markers (light greys or something?) But honestly, I think not having everything you may want on hand can be an interesting challenge. Great kit tour! Thanks so much!
