I don’t understand how a privacy fence around a backyard facing a pond is going to disrupt a view. Does it allow a privacy fence that doesn’t run the property line? Like just a small area where homeowners can have a pool with a privacy fence around it while the rest of the backyard is open? That would seem reasonable to me. I have heard of some HOA rules where the curtains in windows facing the road have to be certain colors etc. one more thing. Do all HOA’s have grandfathered laws? Where they can’t change the rule and force homeowners to comply if they have been there for a while already?

Jacksonville has pros and cons. It’s a bit boring if you’re single kid free, but if you have a family it’s pretty good. It needs some more activities and it needs some more things like classy bars with live music, outdoor events, and some more theme park type things. But it’s chill, not much traffic compared to other cities, beautiful water ways, and many public parks.

Born and raised in Florida for over 60 years [one of the few left] We never even heard of a HOA till the massive invading and flooding in of the people from the North. Florida has been completely destroyed and over populated by the invading masses. Go to South Fla. and you will be lucky to find anyone that can or will speak English in many places. I think the main problem with Jacksonville is the actual size of the city. It should be split into 4 or 5 separate cities. This way, each city could have its own downtown district. That’s exactly how it was in Detroit when I was living there. Within 15 miles of downtown, there were probably 5 different downtown areas to go to. It really made the metro area seem much bigger too when you break it up like that

I was born and raised in Jacksonville, My opinion the time to live in Jacksonville was the 80's 90's and early 2k's that was the best era to live in Jacksonville. I'm thinking about moving to Orlando. Jacksonville Sucks😂 There's nothing exciting here. All this land we have, There's no Theme Parks here, there's nothing to really do here. I'm ready for change

Absofuckinlutely 💯 💯 💯 i said the same thing. Ive lived in Orange Park since 1998. Orlando has traffic issues, but that place's nightlife is lit! Jacksonville is closed after 9pm. Lame

Sounds like you've got some great memories of Jacksonville back in the day! A lot of people feel that it’s changed over the years, and it can be tough when a place you once loved just doesn’t feel the same anymore. Orlando could be a fun move-there’s always something going on with the theme parks and nightlife. Change can be exciting, so best of luck if you make the leap! 😄

Great video and very interesting! Hearing about Jax compared to my area Orlando, there are similarities in what everyone is dealing with. I love both cities though.

@@YashaWells I mean Jacksonville is ok for me, I like it I can kayak ,fish, bike ride , do all the outdoorsy activities lol people talk about the crime but I haven’t experienced anything . Overall I it’s cool for me. I would love to live more south but it’s more expensive and more likely to get direct hits for the hurricane ( in my opinion) Love your video!
