Thank you for helping the poor horses. It would be nice to get hidden cameras all along this Rt. They need much tougher penalties for these pathetic people who inflict so much cruelty! If they can do this to animals then they have no problem being abusive to people!

How you Vote for public officials will effect the laws and enforcement. Officials that take away rights from women will certainly not care about animals. Keep that in mind over the next few months!!!

In England we would put up cameras which activate once motion is detected and we would have people working shifts at night to keep watch and take down car registration numbers and video. England has many of its own problems but what it does have is an army of brilliant animal activists who work to get these animal abusers behind bars. Reach out to me if you think you need help that England can provide, and meantime I think you for everything you are doing to help those poor creatures who have no voice to shout for help x

As mentioned in conversation recently, the seemingly impossible enforcement situation at Dogpatch could probably now be resolved utilizing current technology that wasn't available when this hell-hole for animals began. There is some cost involved, of course, but I'm sure there are a few people out there that would be willing to finance a viable solution to the Dogpatch situation. Strategically placed solar-powered cameras --- the same kind that Northern Jaguar Project used to capture recent video footage of Arizona's first ocelot in decades --- could monitor areas of frequent activity in Dogpatch, providing video evidence of anyone dumping animals ... or any other illegal dumping activity, for that matter. Drone surveillance is another option that didn't exist until recent years. Between the two strategies, at least some of the perpetrators could then be identified, arrested, and made examples of in the court system. As the word spreads that "dumping in Dogpatch" is no longer inconsequential, people would then abandon the idea instead of the animals.

It sucks in rescue that we work so hard & sadly 😢 the ending is not what we'd hoped for. Too bad cameras can't be installed to identify people who commit such cruelty. TY 🙏 for this call to action. I spoke to Pima County Sheriffs office a couple weeks ago after reading the newsletter. Unfortunately an officer explained they don’t have authority to address the dog patch problem.
