The music junked another video 👎👎👎👎💩💩💩
Need to show Monogram 😢😢😢
I take your point, I would go back and film it But I under stand the engine has been removed ! ..It's a shame!
Thanks lot of Thanks ❤ God bless you@davereeve5258
What does the engine power???
It use to power a small modern corn mill, flour from which was sold in the cafe and used for the bread they used. I understand that's all gone , what a shame !
@Dave Reeve Thanks I'll sleep good now
This is one of my favorite antique engine videos. I love the many different sounds it makes while starting up!
I under stand the engine has been removed ! ..It's a shame!
The sound of the engine ! ..A plea for help .. seems to say ..."Stop me, Stop me, ...., .... "
nice out fit.
Bona makinaria mol bona makinaria. Bonissima
Schönes Video, tolle Maschine. Gibts mehr davon?
Very interesting to see the parts from the front/head to the back/rear, the spring and arm driven fuel injector, the arms of the inlet and outlet valves, the eccentric rotating oiler arm and finally the rotating governor with its own arm. Nice. I still think that among the numerous English crude oil single cylinder, open crank, horizontal engine manufactureres the Blackstones stand out. Their closed crank engines are great too. What quality.
So the bore is 10.503 inches what's the stroke and flywheel dimensions and weight?
That's something I don't know, but i'm sure people out there do !
The piston engine was removed. Lol 😆 a piston itself isn’t an engine. Must be a cultural language ordeal. It’s still funny tho. Thanks for posting this. Very splendid diesel 👍
Finally someone who knows how to plow! Nice work
💪💪💪👍
Quality all round great ! Thanks :-)
Thanks Michael.
Nice video!
um dia ainda vou trabalhar com uma dessa
Nice vid.Obviously the man knows how to run a plow proper.

Music
What music this machine should make. Such rhythm.
I agree ! ...DR
that is so ausome i just love these old engines i think they are great and they last forever it seams not like the junk these days !!!
The arm on the end of the cam is just cool. I have no idea what it does, but appears to do it well.
cool engines remember my childhood days at my village
It looks like a hodge podge of cams and levers that were after thoughts as the developers found they kept needing new additions to make it run efficiently. Kind of like the old Winchester House in California.
+Rumple Stiltskin Thanks for that.
But,RS, a real treat for us eccentrics to watch other eccentrics at work. Dave,Sorry to hear about the windmill falling apart, wish I could help, too much of our heritage being lost.
perfect handling - respect!!!
that thing is a monster
Nice outfit. Making a good job too

They still called it an oil engine, even though it's a solid-injection diesel engine, one of the first to be made in large numbers.
Very nice demo. Thank you. Interested to see you use the scraper with quite slow rotation.
Nicely done mate! Superb video quality and sound! Love old engines. If I have the room and the money, one day I'd buy an old engine and run it just for the sound and the whole sight. A mechanical orchestra!
Me too, Megadriver! Like a mechanical heartbeat, never misses a beat!
My grandfather Tom Cleave of Pityme St Minver Cornwall England. Had an engine like this driving his travelling bed saw bench in the 1950s. All gone now. I remember he used to run out of air on starting sometimes.Oh dear!!
This is more about Hunstanton pigeons, also I'm going to be here next week
Nice to see an old Spring Injection Blackstone still at work, allways enjoy watching these because of the way the governor and injection system can be seen working. One of the finest oil engines every made.
Thanks Since I made the video, one of the sails have fallen from the Windmill, all have now been removed and it is doubtful that funds will ever be available to restore the Windmill. ...Dave
:-(
Nice Great Engine
Thanks ....Revo.
I been on Norman
honored and will never forget
Bloody beautiful! Thank you!
why are people cheering this? horrible! :(
Well I enjoyed your video and thank you very much for taking the time to do it. Having worked with Spring injection engines for 35 years I can tell you it sounds quite healthy!
The story line is some what leaving untold, Is in possoible to fit a ND filter to correct the contrast of the sky line to the cliff for a better density you are achieving and you will enjoy this more the more you use the HD Video, a Script board, bullet points and narration will enhace the efforts well done Son!
I found the lack of script, and Video editing, to tell the whole story in haff the time! Work from bullet points to achieve the story, the naration need a neck microphone working from the script, the engine if you listen carefully seems to chant "stop me, stop me, stop me, having worked on these engines at Savages Enginering sounds like engine slap, the Photography was very clear and interesting
That coupling looks way too loose to me!
