@ plenty of programs out there. Just a few I can think of are film cut,dap,digi cut. Try joining a tint group on facebook and use the search option to find all software options. Once you choose the one you want you will have to call them so they install the correct drivers so the plotter works with software.

Great plotter for its price point. Takes some time to dial it in.

Its a budget friendly option. Cost me 1,200$. Has worked great for me for a couple of yrs already. Depending on software that is used can vary anywhere from 100-200$ per month. I use core.

Baby shampoo and water from the tap. But I do have a water softner connected to my house.

Yes tint is not supposed to be reflective and tint on windshield is illegal just about everywhere

It really depends where you want the seem to be. Me personally I would look for a film roll big enough to cover the whole window in one piece.

The mirror effect will be on the side with the brightest light. Cheap simple fix is a curtain. Or get a flood light on the outside of the window that will be brighter than the interior light and make sure it is on at night.

Ive never used a jaguar plotter. I can tell you that this budget plotter does have a learning curve to it. But once you dial it in right and you know what to expect. It does a great job for its price.

I use kepler and Geoshield. But there is a lot of good brands. Maybe ill make a video soon of all the quality films on the market.

If you don’t want the mirror effect and just heat rejection you can opt for a ceramic film. Make sure it is for flat glass and not for automotive. They are different.

Its a great heat gun overall. My first one lasted 2 yrs and the cord broke before the heat gun.

I just used cable hider from amazon. I had some laying around already.

I used a film a bought from this company just yesterday. Used the 50% vlt. Worked just fine 💯

That plotter would work for side windows and quarter windows.

You have to hit origin after every cut to put it where you want it. Basically telling the plotter a starting point. Mine I have set up to feed an extra 3 inched so I can cut it. Then I roll it back to where I need it and hit origin. Hopefully that makes sense.

Cool. Remembering the origin button is a new routine I must learn to follow. Had big issues still thought it was static. Called both us cutter, no progress. Called film design, he put a mimaki driver in it, no problems. If anyone is continuing to have an issue try the drivers. Follows the titan and many other budget plots.

You can always opt for a lighter shade and retain more natural light. But the mirror effect will be less noticeable.
