I definitely can relate as a man I didn’t know God I had to get rid of idols football was an idol for me, I quit during the same year the team went to the championship, God had me to quit I wasn’t sure why at the moment and was very hurt about it but years later I thank God and am very grateful for the grace of God and mercy. I’m a now born again believer and serving Christ and taking things oneday at a time. Football was and Idol for me I thank God for taking it out of my life. God wants his people to live to serve him. God is so good and his mercy is from everlasting to everlasting. Thank God for you sister, keep pushing sister God who started a good work in you will see it through until the end! God is very patient! I did my first fast in 2020 as well I thank God for revealing himself to me and is all. THANK YOU JESUS! Be blessed you all

I was just talking to my mom about this because I was watching videos about people denouncing their sororities and fraternities. I use to want to be red but they got suspended for 10 years for some out of pocket stuff at my school. Now I know it was the prayers of my ancestors and discernment that protected me from being involved.
Discernment is key!!

Very refreshing to see/hear young women NOT follow the path of their predecessors who couldn't get it right' I have personally witnessed these sororities emboldened to engage in decades of division, slander, envy, jealousy, hoarding and pillaging resources in the community rejection, public humiliation, etc. It's embarrassing!

You were filled with the Holy Spirit the second you accepted Jesus as your savior. You already have the Holy Spirit and he is the one who led you to denounce AKA. And if you never get around to speaking in tongues, you're still saved because of your faith in Jesus.
The evidence you have the Holy Spirit is you will speak with a new tongue as the Spirit of God gives the utterance. Mark 16:16-17 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;
We must also obey Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. Thank God for you all Jesus wants to make us whole. Thank God for this testimony!
@@larenphillips9673 All believers have the Holy Spirit even if they don't show evidence by speaking in tongues. The scripture that you mentioned doesn't mean that all christians must speak in tongues. Some people misinterpret the scriptures. No one has to tarry or speak in tongues to receive the Holy Spirit.
@@lillingtoncr The Word of God has to be true Isaiah 28:10-11 For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little: For with stammering lips and another tongue will he speak to this people. It’s all through faith brother read the entire book of Acts it explains every encounter when anyone was filled with the Spirit of God! We must be born again of the water and spirit to enter the Kingdom. We must have faith to believe! God wants to give you us all his Spirit it’s God’s will.
@@larenphillips9673 In Mark 16:17 speaking in tongues isn't the only evidence of having the Holy Spirit. Picking up snakes, drinking poison without being harmed and healing the sick are also listed as evidence. More than one christian has died from snake bites while handling snakes during their worship services. People mention speaking in tongues to make their point. But they don't say anything about the snakes and poison which are also listed as signs of evidence. I haven't seen any believers drink poison or pick up dangerous snakes and I hope they won't risk their life by doing so. This kind of teaching can be very harmful especially to new converts. It could cause them to doubt their salvation although they've already trusted Jesus to save them. If they believe they don't have the Holy Spirit because they haven't spoken in tongues the devil, being the opportunist that he is, would probably use that to torment them. The bible says that anyone who doesn't have God's spirit doesn't belong to him. But even if they never speak in tongues these people are saved because of their faith in Jesus and they already have the Holy Spirit. They don't have to tarry and speak in tongues to prove that they have God's Spirit. I'm not against speaking in tongues. I just don't want people to think that they have to do this to get the Holy Spirit.
Powerful testimony 🙌 👏 I was led by the Lord to denounce DST in 2016. I had been inactive for years but during a time of prayer and fasting the Lord revealed that I was in Idolatry because of the oaths I took during initiation. I thought i was by myself too.

Sis, that is exactly what I did. I fasted because I just knew I had to and sure enough the Lord gave me confirmation through His Word to leave AKA. Praying for you through this process, that He will show you.
God will lead you to all truth sister, God wants to be your everything he loves you more, he created you to communicate with him directly. Jesus loves you sister and wants you all to himself.
