Jesus did build a church, it is called the ecclesia. It was not a building, it was a people chosen to represent his kingdom. The church is the same concept in kingdoms where the king would choose his cabinet members to execute his will in his kingdom. Jesus called us to be his cabinet, not to offer our opinions but to represent and enforce his words and laws on the earth. If we do contrary to the kings will, we cease to be kingdom citizens and become enemies of the king. The kings words is the only and final authority in the kingdom, anyone who rebels against his will commits a treason. If we misrepresent him, we rebel against his will and commitment insurrection against his kingdom.

The evangelist nailed it on explaining why does bad things happen to good people. Well done🙌🏿. I would add that enduring death and physical suffering is prove to God of your love, sacrifice and commitment to him. Jesus said that if you want to be my disciple, you must take up your cross and follow him, which alludes to the fact that we will suffer just as he suffered leading to the cross. This is our ultimate test of loyalty and commitment to him. Our reward in heaven is much more important than what we can have in this world. So be willing to suffer now so that you can enjoy in eternity.
