South Australian Hillclimb Championships 2016, held at Collingrove Hillclimb. Class Winning Run. 35.95sec to take out 'Improved Production 3001-6000cc'. Not a fast run by usual standards, but a very challenging track - this was about as good as conditions got all weekend! Modified MY09 Subaru Forester XT.

Came into 'the wall' at Collingrove just a little bit hotter than usual (at about the 8sec mark on this video) and just managed to keep it tidy. I swear it seemed a whole lot worse at the time with visions of running straight off onto grass and into the guard rail up top - thank fark for Brembos and soft semi slicks which washed a lot of speed off, real quick! Collingrove WinterCup #1 - 2016 An awesome day out in the Foz - great to be back on track! Best run for the day 35.18sec (0.03sec off my PB) 7.37sec / 20.72sec / 35.18sec About 20 degrees, clear sky. 28.5psi (warm) front and rear. This was my 3rd attempt at Run #2. 1st run there was a witches hat on the course so I got a re-run, 2nd run was a timing failure, 3rd run nailed it ;)

Looks like the ADVAN A050 R Specs have come into their own today. Awesome grip from the 1st run! This one, run 4 was my 3rd and best PB for the day at 35.15. Wasn't sure the Foz could get into 34's but they're only one good launch away now ;) Bring on 2016!

6th Run at the WRXSA Eblens Subaru Collingrove Hillclimb 27.9.15 New PB again, 35.78. Dry, hot track, semi-slicks, awesome fun!

LANGUAGE WARNING! 1st Run at the WRXSA Eblens Subaru Collingrove Hillclimb 27.9.15 Now I finally see why people rave about semi-slicks! After sitting on 35.54sec down to 36.50 for almost 2 seasons, my first run up the hill today broke my PB by 0.56sec for 35.94sec - Hence, some language after the finish line ;)

MY09 Forester. Best run for the day 36.74. Not a PB, but happy with the time considering bad take-off and cold greasy track on semi's ;)

Very wet and cold day at Collingrove. 1st day on new Advan A050 Soft tyres and just under a second slower than my dry PB on street tyres. Pretty happy with the grip on this semi-wet lap, should be awesome in the dry!

No records smashed this run, but the end sums up why I keep going back!

Best run for the day at 36.72sec (0.22 off my PB) on a day that wasn't 'quick'. Finally feeling in tune with the 6 speed STi box and plated front LSD... Good times ahead with new rubber ;)
