Lou, do you all still have your turtle and bird? What are there names? We were trying to guess whose animals they are. My guess was the turtle is Ayllsias and the bird is Madelyns.

I live in the Twin Cities and worked at the MOA when it was brand new and the theme park in the middle was Camp Snoopy. I actually worked in Camp Snoopy. Now I avoid that place like the plague. As a novelty or if you are a mall type person the place is fine. I live half an hour away and am not a mall person. After 4 1/2 years of daily drives there and back and hours inside I just don't care to revisit it in person. It can be interesting to see others reactions to it though.

Did you visit the Apple Store there ?

We live about 40 minutes away from MOA. Usually go to kura sushi, Hotopic or box lunch. Hope you can visit again when less crowded.

I live in St. Cloud, about an hour or so northwest of the mall, been there several times, and you really need two full days to seeeverything.

Definitely check out the book called a sallie house haunting by Debra lyn pickman and haunted Kansas by Lisa Hefner heitz. The first book is about one of the most haunted houses in America that happens to be in my town and the second book the last section is about all the haunted houses in my town. My town is the most haunted town in Kansas and it’s also Amelia Earhart the pilot’s hometown and is known for the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe railroad.

If you guys ever come to the Kansas City area definitely check out worlds of fun and oceans of fun
