Hong Kong | 4 Days of Travel | Vlog
There are similarities between Hong Kong and Singapore; the way that English is widely-used due to the British colonisation in the past and being Asia's business hubs. Hong Kong is easy to commute around with public transport and places of interest are not too far away from each other. Separately and together, we have been to Hong Kong numerous times (10 or more?) for either leisure or business; the close proximity makes it easy to do so. We tend to return to familiar grounds & indulge in food cravings like roast goose.

Gurgaon | Snippets of a Work Trip
มุมมอง 463หลายเดือนก่อน
This was my (Carol) fifth trip to Gurgaon; it is usually during the year-end that I would visit, and always because of work. What I love most about India is its lovely hospitality and delicious food. The local colleagues never failed to gift me something each trip and have even driven me to the Taj Mahal (five hours return trip from Gurgaon) during their weekend. As for the food, it can be very...
Okuhotakadake | 3D2N Hike in the Japanese Alps
มุมมอง 313หลายเดือนก่อน
Located in the Northern Japanese Alps, Okuhotakadake (Mount Okuhotaka) is the third highest peak in Japan at 3190m where we spent 3 days and 2 nights. We originally planned to hike another mountain in Hakuba but the bad weather closed off two of the trails. Pivoted to this mountain as it was something familiar. With multiple routes up the mountain, we took the easier Kamikochi - Karasawa - Okuh...
Ebisu, Tokyo | Food, Coffee & Shopping
มุมมอง 17K2 หลายเดือนก่อน
We have a soft spot for Ebisu and try our best to stay here during our Tokyo trips. At night, when the retail shops are closed, we would take a walk to Daikanyama T-Site (used to open till 2am in the past) and spend a few hours reading. It takes longer to walk from Ebisu to Shibuya than to Daikanyama and Nakameguro. If you don’t feel like walking, Ebisu is on the JR Yamanote train line and Shib...
Nasushiobara, Tochigi | 3 Days of Travel | Vlog
มุมมอง 7423 หลายเดือนก่อน
When we first visited Nasushiobara in the summer of 2019, we stayed at Art Biotop (sadly, which has now closed) and thoroughly enjoyed the cool highlands even though it was only for a night. We discovered after leaving the town that there were plenty of places to visit, such as N's Yard. Finally went back and did everything we could squeeze into one weekend and a day. We visited Mashiko, which ...

Need to visit the best men’s store called Marais
Thanks for the recommendation! Just googled Marais and realised we went to the QV store but didn't take content as we got distracted by shopping. We like Marais and INCU :)
Stumbled upon your vlog as I was researching for Nasushiobara. We are keen to visit the Nara museum in our next trip but know little about the town itself. Was it easy to find parking places around the town for the shopping stops? Thanks 😊
Yes, it was easy as most of the stores had at least one or two parking lots for their customers. The larger establishments would have proper car parks. Hope you do get to visit the museum!
Beautiful views!
It was! One of the more scenic hikes I’ve done in Japan
