Hello from Wisconsin.
I’m just a small channel in a big world. I try to make quick DIY videos without all the fodder that some creators have in their videos.
Other videos are just simple chronicles of my life and the struggle that we all have with do it yourself projects.
I’m always looking for new projects. If you have ideas, please comment on my videos or contact me directly.

That would be a great time to remove the auger bits and give that shaft a good coat of grease because cub cadet does not have grease zerks to do that.
glad you're still here. had my own work accident back in march. i work for a forklift company and had some racking collapse. ended up having about 30 batteries (1500-3500 pounds each) come falling down around me. ended up with the overhead guard on the forklift bent down around me and a battery sitting in the seat as i was jumping out, not a scratch on me though somehow. at least we lived to tell the tale. get well, enjoy the time off.
Now that you've had them installed for about a year, how are they working for you?
They still work excellent. No complaints at all.
@pilgrimsgarage thanks.
You’re welcome
you REALLY left that 30+ pound clutch hang from not only the wires, but the special male/female connections? How hard is it to disconnect the clutch 'pigtale' connection at the side frame of the engine? OH BOY!
30+lb? You may want to start lifting weights…it can’t weigh but 6-7 lbs.
never use an impact to install any pulley or flywheel ONTO the crank. YMMV
Never had a problem but I’ve also never sat there and really drove it on hard
Hope this works for my 2002 suburban my cats are rattling
It might. I ended up removing mine after a while
Thanks
You’re welcome
Nice work...thanks
Thank you and you’re welcome. It’s an easy job
Can you unclogged a cat ? With something else 🤔
I don’t think so. I ended up pulling this one and it was all busted up so I just straight piped it. I’m not sure if you can clean one like this.
Thank you! I have a question, is this the same as the suzuki 1986 intrude 700? or is there a lot of difference?
Definitely the same concept but I believe the exhaust is just a bit different.
Is this still the same with the year 2004?
Yes it should be. Get your vin number under your seat when you order your belt and you should be golden
@pilgrimsgarage thank you
@computertech5924 you’re welcome. It’s a bit of a crude video because it was early in my TH-cam career but hopefully it helps people out. Thank you again.
😀😂POLAND
Woodpecker mechanic...just got cancer.
That’s funny right there.
@pilgrimsgarage thanks
Ty 4 the video but removing that spring created a job that wasn't necessary. Pressing in the clutch,/brake pedal will remove tension from the belt until you release it
Oh crap…you’re right! I never thought of that. Good tip
2:09 poor catalytic converter looks like its getting the devil beat out of it.
It was😉
2:51 didn't you see?
I recommend cutting open the catalytic converter and gutting it. Then weld back together. Works better than this method.
Yeah but…my welding skills suck.
Does anyone happen to know the gearbox lube type for a 3 stage? I had to replace a leaking gearbox seal but I can't find the lube spec anywhere.
I believe it should be regular gear lube. That what I have used in the past.
I have same the auged keep spinning i did replace belt nothing change
Are the shear pins broken or are they intact? The belt should drive the augers.
Thank you for replying, Everything works fine, parts have been replaced and still when engine working the auger keeps running by itself
@yasiralgburi3341 so there it sounds like that spring might be in the wrong place forcing pressure to the pulley engaging the belt. Silly question, are you anywhere near central Wisconsin? I could take a look at it for you.
@@pilgrimsgarage idid replace spring, I’m from buffalo NY
Ah crap…that’s a little bit of a ride.
What spark plug did you end up using?
I can’t remember but it was the bigger of the two. I went to O’Reillys and they had 2 different sizes.
What type of oil?
I just used 10w30. You could use sae 30 if you wanted.
The plastic separator bowl, cracked on my JD 2520; maybe over the winter ??? JD would only sell the entire assembly which normally runs ~$100; thanks JD. At any rate your video has helped me get oriented with my smaller unit. THANKS !!
You’re welcome. I know what you mean about John Deere, they have been less than supportive when it comes to maintenance. If you ever have a problem with the dpf they won’t even sell you the parts. What should’ve cost $289 cost me $1321. I’ve been trying to get a service manual for this tractor for some time. Once I get the information I need I’m going to make a bunch of videos on trouble codes and fixing them. They just won’t sell me one from JD. I’ve bought a few but they don’t have the information I want. Hopefully I will get some answers soon. Thanks again.
@@pilgrimsgarage I had no idea JD wouldn't sell service manuals for your unit. I bought my 2925 around 2010 and at the time service manuals were available, though, not as helpful as I'd like. Seems like JD should have no problems selling a manual. I believe this would encourage sales when folks like you construct how-to videos to take the mystery out of simple diy repairs.. When I was considering the purchase of my 2520, YT videos on the product helped me go through with the purchase. Again, thanks for your videos!!
@wa4aos you bet.
i did not see how you inserted the belt into the Polly in the front but good job
This was early in my TH-cam making video progress. I apologize, it’s kind of rough. I did make another one about six months later that’s much more descriptive.

Muchas gracias por su video, me ha servido de gran ayuda👏👏👏👏👍

Super awesome video, Thank you sooo Much ❗‼
You’re welcome.
Do you know where the oil pressure switch is on these models??
Let me check with DJ. The Alfa was his but he just recently sold it. I’ll see if I can get him to respond.
Are you looking specifically for the twin turbo Quad. or just the Stelvio?
@@pilgrimsgarage twin turbo quadrifoglio
Ok, I will check
@joezambanini520 ok, DJ does not remember where it was because he never had to replace it. There is a lot of information on the internet but nothing seems to be isolated to a Quadrifoglio. He did mention that the Alfa Romeo up in the twin cities have always been helpful in any questions he had. I have a phone number for them that might help. It’s 612-268-2630. I hope that helps, if it does, please comment back and tell us what you find out. It’s always helpful to others. Thanks and good luck.
We had the exact model growing up. 6 volt system with a hand crank. Please just get it running. It deserves that at least.
It’s sitting in front of my shop as we speak. Needs ignition parts and a generator, other than that it’s in good shape. Silly question though, where does the battery mount? Was there a holder near the starter or maybe on the back somewhere?
Did it get louder as in exhaust tone?
Not really. In all actuality, 3 weeks after I filmed this the damn thing plugged up on me due to all the wafers being busted up. I just parked it. It’s kinda a piece of crap.
One turkey gave the old Kiss my ASS routine.

Kickass job! Love my intruder vs 750!
Had 3 broken ribs from a MC crash. You just have to tough it out. Sorry hope you feel better soon.
How long did you take to actually feel better? Sleeping is probably the worst.
I broke a rib at the start of my shift. Worked all day tossing ratchet straps, and chains and binders. After work that day, I stopped for gas. When reaching for the seat belt, I broke the other one. It hurt worse because I didn’t expect it. And yes, worse than when I broke my leg in 3 places, and my clavicle. ( that made the use of crutches difficult)
Ugh…you make mine sound like a walk in the park. Screwing up a leg was no fun either.
Never broken ribs the wrists take a long time to heal. Broke mine in 1998 and it still gives me issues. Get better!😊
Nothing for ribs unfortunately. Just time but they get better. Glad you’re feeling better.
Oh man...sorry to hear that. I am glad you are ok and live.
Yeah it could’ve been much worse. My fear is these injuries are going to be with me the rest of my life which kinda sucks. Thanks Pavel, we’ll talk soon!
im guessing you broke one of the lower ribs? they hurt more because of breathing. cant remember if it was the bottom one but it was within the first couple i broke one and yea hurt like mad. nothing you can do, just grin and bare it.
The stabbing pains have pretty well subsided but it’s replaced with the dull ache and tightness. Sleeping has been just miserable. You’re correct though, I broke 8-9 on my right side so the lower ones… I don’t recommend it for sure. Thanks for the information though.
There's nothing you can do for broken ribs. Suffer through it. I have broken many bones and shoulders were the worst
It doesn't get any easier getting up or going down.
Yay…thanks for the great news🙄
