Pilgrim’s Garage

Hello from Wisconsin.
I’m just a small channel in a big world. I try to make quick DIY videos without all the fodder that some creators have in their videos.
Other videos are just simple chronicles of my life and the struggle that we all have with do it yourself projects.
I’m always looking for new projects. If you have ideas, please comment on my videos or contact me directly.

Kickass job! Love my intruder vs 750!
Had 3 broken ribs from a MC crash. You just have to tough it out. Sorry hope you feel better soon.
How long did you take to actually feel better? Sleeping is probably the worst.
I broke a rib at the start of my shift. Worked all day tossing ratchet straps, and chains and binders. After work that day, I stopped for gas. When reaching for the seat belt, I broke the other one. It hurt worse because I didn’t expect it. And yes, worse than when I broke my leg in 3 places, and my clavicle. ( that made the use of crutches difficult)
Ugh…you make mine sound like a walk in the park. Screwing up a leg was no fun either.
Never broken ribs the wrists take a long time to heal. Broke mine in 1998 and it still gives me issues. Get better!😊
Nothing for ribs unfortunately. Just time but they get better. Glad you’re feeling better.
Oh man...sorry to hear that. I am glad you are ok and live.
Yeah it could’ve been much worse. My fear is these injuries are going to be with me the rest of my life which kinda sucks. Thanks Pavel, we’ll talk soon!
im guessing you broke one of the lower ribs? they hurt more because of breathing. cant remember if it was the bottom one but it was within the first couple i broke one and yea hurt like mad. nothing you can do, just grin and bare it.
The stabbing pains have pretty well subsided but it’s replaced with the dull ache and tightness. Sleeping has been just miserable. You’re correct though, I broke 8-9 on my right side so the lower ones… I don’t recommend it for sure. Thanks for the information though.
There's nothing you can do for broken ribs. Suffer through it. I have broken many bones and shoulders were the worst
It doesn't get any easier getting up or going down.
Yay…thanks for the great news🙄

Excellent video very straightforward explanation.
It’s easy to do but man is it messy!
@@pilgrimsgarage I have an 02 Alero with a manual transmission and have never had to replace the clutch. Maintaining the fluids is so important for longevity.
@davidphilion1432 the clutch really doesn’t matter when it comes to fluids. It matters how you drive it. If you still have the original clutch in it with a fair amount of miles then you sir know how to drive a manual transmission. 😀
Thanks for acknowledging my clutch abilities. It's not often people with youtube channels respond. My next project will be fixing rust above the rocker panels.
@davidphilion1432 yeah the rust on this one isn’t fixable…its bad. You should hear it when I jack it up…sounds like Rice Krispies.

Thank you. Really good video mate!
Thank you. It’s a really easy process to do.

Good job thanks. Type of oil SE 30?
I put 5w30 in it just because that’s what I had. SAE 30 would be fine.
I got mine back in 2018 ... let me let you know the bottom is going to scrape the asphalt especially if you're going over the railroads Crossings or going over a bump. To correct this you're going to have to buy a 2.5 inch lift kit to raise your front wheels and your back wheels. Trust me that bar will be hitting the road
He hasn’t had that problem that I’m aware of but I will ask him. Thanks for the info…I appreciate it!

U should try using a map gas torch and heat the pully up till its glowing then itll come rite off
I thought of that but would it ruin the crank seal? It wasn’t my machine so I didn’t do it.
No it doesn't ruin the seal doesn't leak or anything afterwards@@pilgrimsgarage
@michaelmadison8100 I will try that next time. I actually have to change my 1050 drive belt again this winter. My pulley came right off when I did it a couple years ago ( also made a video but it wasn’t descriptive enough). Hopefully mine comes off again
Inhaled magnesium dust should show up in your chest x-ray at some point.
THAT PULLY NEVER COMES OFF,BEND THE TABS WITH A GOOD VICE GRIP AND PRY BAR! Hammer back to keep new belt on!

Lol yeah go buy a 20 year old Ford and let's see how much you complain
I own one. 2004 f250 that is tired too but it doesn’t require anywhere near the maintenance this thing has cost me. I won’t lie, I love to hate this thing but I also hate to love it. It’s in my garage at this exact moment.

Replacing mine on my sonoma for $350 friday, afraid if i do this the catalyst clogs my rust free texas exhaust.
Damn if you can replace it for $350 that is a good price. I would recommend against using a 28oz framing hammer 😉
@@pilgrimsgarage what I thought, universal cat at a muffler shop. Those blazer ones are direct fit around $200 on Amazon though
I don’t trust the ones on Amazon. Hopefully the universal one works. Keep me informed, I’d like to know what happens if you have the time. Thanks.
@@pilgrimsgarage I hear you, especially a cat, that's why I went to a reputable muffler guy. Will do, just rebuilt my 4l60e, I'm riding it to death, I love simple old mini trucks.
@@pilgrimsgarageThe universal worked fine. The check engine light went off and stayed off after lots of driving this wkend. At $319 it's worth it.
