And they go “just come for 1”. What is the point of going for 1? Do you know what I mean? They are just trying to pull the wool over your eyes, aren’t they? You know what I mean? Who ever has 1? I’m going to get up, put my clothes on, meet you in the boozer “alright man! How’s it going? Oh, your dog died, no way!” You got to listen to that, and then you have the beer and that is it. If we are going out, we’re gonna go out, and we’re going have 100. Do you know what I mean?

I thought she was Scottish. The UK is amazing. I once took a deep dive on the accent of "Daisy" the skullery from Downton Abbey. Found out that it was a very tradirional Cornish accent, that everyone worked very hard to get just right. I respect that the British take this so very seriously.

Are these rules British English?
They are mostly universal but there are some syllable stress differences between British and American English. e.g. LAboratory, LaBOratory I hope that helps.
