Harvesting, Pruning Moringa Oleifera - Mojave Desert Las Vegas, Nevada
Here I am (Lena Mumma) having fun harvesting/pruning and munching Moringa Oleifera leaves. It is hard to mess up - you can prune/harvest moringa anyhow and it will regrow very quickly.
Moring is an easy growing, great shade tree and tasty spicy leaves to eat.

Growing Edible Plants Under Fruit Trees - Las Vegas, Nevada
มุมมอง 6K7 ปีที่แล้ว
I recorded this video at the end of May, 2017. Location: Las Vegas Nevada, USA. In this video, I show what I planted near/underneath of some of my fruit trees. If you have more ideas or suggestions please let me know. I really like the idea of growing edible and/or beneficial plants the way forest grows (many layers) instead of one height standard fruit tree orchards or garden rows, since growi...
Way to Harvest Mulberries Without Killing Ants. Pakistan Mulberry Taste Review (Veganic Gardening)

Best Time to Harvest Mulberries. Pakistan Mulberry Taste Review The mulberry tree is one of easiest to grow and very productive. Pakistan Mulberry is very sweet, large berry (about 3-4 inch long, looks like a blackberry but longer). Planting Asparagus Around Deciduous Fruit Trees + Drunken Blooper
มุมมอง 7K7 ปีที่แล้ว
I think it is better to plant asparagus under deciduous (shedding its leaves annually) trees. My reasoning considers that evergreen trees may provide too much shade in the spring. Plant asparagus about 18 inches from the trunk. Do not put too many crowns, 3 - 4 max. Sorry, some parts of this video did not get recorded for some reason, so next time I will make a better video. Videos I mentioned:...

How to Stop a Cat Eating Your Plants (hint - not a sprinkler)

    In my old country, they used to paint tree trunks with so called vápno. In translation it means lime, but it wasn't exactly the granulated brown lime that you buy from Home Depot. It was thick white stuff that could be mixed with water and was also used to paint rooms inside a house. Was also used to make mortar for stucco styled houses. I wish I could find this here in America

    perlite is not plastic. More like artificial pumice in smaller and lighter forms. Good for pots that you want to move around since it is much lighter. Micro dust is not good for your health, however. good information on how to save money on bare root trees.

    Just a thought - what if you would have sprayed WD40 (or some oil) on the locking mechanism after assembling the product new ? wouldn't it work as rust protection? How about spraying the locking mechanism with protective zinc spray before assembly? It's a shame that the locking mechanism does not come GALVANIZED from production, or at least the design should be made that the part of the locking mechanism that is installed inside should not come in direct contact with the composting material (a simple plastic cover installed on top of it from the inside would get the job done! such part would cost the manufacturer only another $1-2 to produce, and will ensure the product could really last more than the 2-3 years life span most users are reporting.. this is also not a cheap composter so shame on the manufcaturer)

    You could have one tree for the ants, and protect another just for you. To do it, just wrap a ring (like a 5 cm wide) of the tree trunk with velcro o something similar. Ants will not crawl over it! Oh I wish I could get Pakistani mulberries in my country!! 🙏

    GET THIS--> CINNAMON tinyurl.com/y5tqs2fv Great Value Ground Cinnamon, 18 oz $9 NOTE: you don't have to put it on the ants, you don't have to create a border, you won't kill any of them: they hate the fumes/scent/smell of cinnamon and will leave on their on within 3-4 hours. Maybe have to repeat once then that's it they will MOVE OUT.

  • @moniquemonicat
    @moniquemonicat 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    We had ants all over our nectarine tree and lime tree. Simple solution: sprinkle ground cinnamon on the trunk throughout the leaves and by the bottom of the trunk. They will clear out on their own in about 4 hours, may need to apply a second time after 4 hours. Cinnamon won't hurt your tree or plants but will fill your garden with cinnamon aroma. Walmart sells the big container of it I keep it in my garden. We're in Sonoran desert we have every kind of ant you can imagine and it is the only thing that works outdoors and is safe.

    spray with neem oil, feed plants with earthworm casting tea.for foliar spray.. i already knew this but i got this off google because it was well written. Worm castings are an effective way to repel white flies, aphids and spider mites and any pest that feeds on plant juices. it takes as little as a 20 percent concentration of vermicompost mix in the soil to boost the resistance of host plants against caterpillar and aphid pests.
