I have had no issues with it but my helicopter hasn't had much use due to various circumstances so I cannot really vouch for it to be honest. It held very well at the time so I cannot see there being a problem. Thanks for watching

Thanks for watching. The training gear is fine carbon fibre rod simply taped where it meets the landing gear and with some light packaging foam cut into drum shapes on the ends which can rotate between 2 small pieces of tubing.

Yes, the Manticore is a real beast. The Q30 varies according to the coin. In my early detecting videos I use the Quest and it does a great job - in those you will see the numbers for all the different coin that I have found. My local permission I used in the early videos has an amazing number and range of coins although I am now doing it all again as the Manticore is finding everything the quest and E-Trac missed!

Yes - really good for a 1921 which isn't pure silver like a 1920 one would have been - obviously still much better quality than modern coins though.

It was awful and I thought I would have to give up but the decision to go to the middle field was such a lucky one and to get a coins spill, 2 silvers plus possibly ancient hose decoration in a few hours was amazing.

Honestly, there are only a couple of inches either side when drivng out forwards. I wouldn't want to risk my van with any practice reverses but I have put the offer out there that if anyone wants to bring their van down and have a go they are welcome as it will make a great video. Hi, If they are smart sensors they should daisy chain, if not you need a hub. The only thing to really watch is that you get the wiring the right way around as being just 3 wires they can go the wrong way easily. If you have no luck then maybe post a video showing it all in detail. Best of luck

@@modellermark2 thanks for the reply, and happy New year's from New Zealand. Yes, my sensors are "S"port smart sensors. Not the more modern advance sensors. But that shouldn't matter. All paper work I have with each other say to just daisy chain together. Just doesn't seem to work. They all work well independently, just not when plugged in chain. It's really wierd

@@russcole5685 The other possibility is your receiver. I note that in the manual for the variometer it says "FrSky V8 series and D series receivers DO NOT support Smart Port" . Which models of all components are you using ?

I'm not sure what you mean? I am not trying to fool anyone - it is a GPS based controller so flies hands off line a drone - even inverted (which it will do at the flick of a button) it will fly like that.

Hi. There are only 2 calibrations available in the App - this are covered nicely by another users video. Make sure there is nothing that can be interferring with it first .. out in the open away from WiFi and power lines etc and keep your phone and transmitter a disatance from it. @@AD-ri9cf It is worth doing - see the ardupilot thread for the details and check all is OK inside.As you see with mine I protected the GPS and moved the compass outside to get better results.

​@modellermark2 We switched from a single to twin axle last year and our drive is wide enough for 2 caravans. We could park the single axle on the far side of the drive creating "privacy" from the neighbour. Can't do that with the twin axle as I found when trying to spin it on its axis the first time we got home with it. Interesting to see the effort you went to with the "rotator"...well done. Notice none of the replies asking why don't you reverse it the length of a football pitch with barely inches to the sides have taken you up on your offer for them to come and show you how it's done....that would have been a great follow up video!

@@M..R.... Yes, I had drones and tripods at the ready for those videos but no takers as yet 😂. I have tried the 2 buttons togther too but it won't do it and I hate seeing how much pressure the tyres are under. I am happy with my device and I can do it single handed easily now without even using the dolly to turn it.

The same offer goes out to yourself as to the others that said that - if you want to come and bring your equivalent sized twin axle down and show me the technique of reversing down the 50m single track lane and into the tight driveway then I am happy to watch and learn - I will even video it and put it on my channel to help others. But currently as it has just inches to spare coming out forwards I am not prepared to risk damaging my van in reverse.

The stock batteries are LiHv so a higher voltage. When using Lipo it can think they are low very quickly. You need to do the USB connection and then use Mission Planner to calibrate your battery as well as setting the low voltage to a suitable Lipo one. @@user-ws2sn4hb6f Hi - take a look through the ardupilot discussion link in the description to help with details on fitting the USB cable. Once done you need to reprogram it with Mission Planner but that is a subject in itself so you may need to watch some videos / tutorials on Mission planner to get the idea of how to use that. Once you have Mission Planner and are plugged in you just need to read the data and then change just what is needed - my posts on the ardupilot thread cover all of that too as well as having a copy of all of my settings.

Sorry you feel that way but I am fine at reversing. You can't see the entrance to my driveway in the video but it is off a single track lane with cambers. It is just possible to get the caravan out when driven out but with just a couple of inches to spare so I see no point in risking trying to reverse it 50m down the lane and then into the driveway. If your van is the same size as mine and you want to bring it down and show me how to do it then I am more than happy to watch and learn. Thanks for watching.

Sorry you feel like that - it is only just possible to get the caravan out of the driveway due to the stone walls that lead to the narrow single track lane leading to our driveway - so I guess yes, it should be possible, but with it so tight to even get it out I wouldn't want to risk my van reversing it 50+m down a single track lane and then into the driveway with only inches to spare. My choice but I see no point taking such a risk.

Yes - it was lovely. I gave it to a man who helped us out that was a resident on the caravan site as he had a lovely little garden around his caravan - he was very pleased with it so it should give pleasure for many years to come I hope.
