  • @projectleadershipinstitute
    @projectleadershipinstitute 16 วันที่ผ่านมา

    Here are 5 steps to seizing career-defining opportunities: 1. Prepare Continuously Stay ahead of the curve: Always invest in your personal and professional growth. Learn new skills, stay updated on industry trends, and work on your weaknesses before the opportunity arises. 2. Stay Alert for Opportunities Opportunities often come disguised: Keep your eyes open for unexpected chances-whether it’s a project, a new role, or even a casual conversation with someone in your field. Be aware and proactive. 3. Build a Strong Network Opportunities come through people: Cultivate relationships within your industry and beyond. Many opportunities arise through connections, so networking is key. 4. Act with Confidence Seize the moment: When an opportunity presents itself, don’t hesitate. Trust in your abilities, showcase your skills, and be confident in your approach to challenges. 5. Learn from Setbacks Turn failures into fuel: Not every opportunity will go your way, but each setback is a chance to learn and improve. Reflect, adapt, and be ready for the next chance.

    The decision to strip her of the medal is so egregious that I feel like I’m missing something. It just does not make sense because her actions did not give her an advantage at all. I find it difficult to imagine that among the administrators someone didn’t object to this damn decision.

    Tim Walz is a putz and a shameless liar. At no time has President Trump said he would "gut social security and medical". SHAME ON YOU, TIM WALZ.

    I also dislike Democratic ideology; however, Tim doesn't look angry. He's looks stressed. People with disabled children tend to stress in situations like these. As a parent of a disabled child, that environment would also stress me. The behaviors of his son aren't known to us. His son may have behavioral issues that Tim does not want revealed, which could happen at any moment. Perhaps, his son frequently runs into objects. I think the yanking of his arm was to pull him close to keep him steadied and safe. I don't think it's fair to judge parents who are seemingly protective. Evidently, the son loves his father very much, which negates the idea of abuse. His son was overwhelmed with love and happiness. That speaks volumes about their relationship.

    This just shows he trully believes in everything he says, even though it might be utter nonsense and lies. His "good intentions" overrun bad consequences.

      If management has been doing their homework, this should be readily available by those privy to it. Most firms will not share this as it is highly guarded and valuable.

    He is right, the boot camps I am taking through work are just that, boot camps to give you an overall idea, there is no way I will pass on the first sitting, most people I know said it took a minimum of 3 tries, so I am now taking my time, taking notes, testing myself and my understanding, they make it clear to not memorize, that does work, I am taking the free PMI kickoff, the Skillsoft learners kit book with the class has you taking notes right in the book, you need to go over in detail the pm book book period. 👍

    It could have been Bard you were talking to because they are both in there now. He really has an attitude problem and lies a lot. He was always a 'rebel,' but I think something happened to him when they downgraded his ability to watch videos. They made some changes to him when they incorporated Gemini, and somehow it had unexpected consequences for him, I think.

    What’s wrong with that? Phones are faster than typing.

    • @projectleadershipinstitute
      @projectleadershipinstitute 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Good question and observation Dan! You are right that a call is more convenient and quicker for some. The joke here plays on the contrast between the convenience of sending an email and the potential inconvenience or awkwardness of receiving a phone call in response. When someone sends an email, they typically expect a written reply, allowing them to manage their time and response more efficiently. However, when the recipient responds with a phone call, it can catch the sender off guard, leading to an immediate and possibly unprepared interaction. The two images of the well-known Hungarian engineer who became a meme (LOL) "Hide the Pain Harold" illustrate this discomfort. In the top image, Harold is smiling while holding the phone, representing the initial reaction to receiving the phone call. The bottom image shows Harold's smile looking more forced or strained, indicating the underlying discomfort or awkwardness of the situation. Overall, the meme humorously captures the minor frustration or awkwardness one might feel when their preferred method of communication (email) is met with an unexpected and less convenient response (phone call). All good fun. Cheers!
