@@Paynomindkt1 I'll check, but it won't be much better quality. It was 2011 in a notoriously hot venue, so that lack of quality isn't just the phone, but also the steam/heat on the lenses. Email me so we can talk out of this thread, I might have it on a Google drive somewhere. I may actually still have that phone
@@steveperez178 good point, I came back to this video in a fit of nostalgia, but @paynomindkt1 hit me up at meratelos@gmail -- I have the SD card from this phone still, prob still looks like shit but whatever, i'll pass the unadulterated file over
this show was a year before I moved to Philly, but still every time I watch it I can remember exactly how it felt to be in that church basement, where no matter how freezing it was right outside it was always a million degrees. I've seen so many amazing shows there, and I'll always cherish those memories. I'm so glad this video exists
It's a shaky fucking camera in the middle of a chaotic swirl of bodies and yet I'm convinced that to have been at this show would have been to experience exactly what music is supposed to feel like. Hell, sitting at home listening to this, the feels are still very evident.
It's hard to get this many people to agree on anything. To get them to be THIS passionate about THIS kind of music in UNISON takes something quite special. Snowing was a blessing to all who heard it. It was like we (emo fans) were just waiting for this band to be born and when we heard Sam Rudich the first time we were just like "holy fuck I can't believe it actually happened." Like they fulfilled the emo prophecy or something. RIP Snowing, I know I'll miss you a whole fucking lot.
@perry475 I'm not saying I wasn't. But I think it's the same deal with the kid who went up on stage, grabbed the mic and started singing at one point before Galm pushed him into the crowd (rightfully so). I just know that if it was my band's last show I wouldn't want any drunk audience members fucking with it.
Fuck that asshole who started playing bass once John gave him the bass. I just feel like it was really disrespectful to mess with the final moment that such a great band will ever play together.
potato on this one hitting
I remember feeling like an old person at this show. older now still. I watch this every few years and I am right back there.
