    Darren Bailey 2022

  • @BL-no7jp
    @BL-no7jp 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    I’m so sick and tired of Darren Bailey’s lies and Gaslighting. He did not win the primaries. He only won the most votes in the GOP primaries at @ 57%. Pritzker received received 93% of his party’s votes. He also received nearly twice as many votes as Bailey received. His record for passing bills is poor at its best. It’s difficult to pass bills when legislation rules are broken while being removed from the legislation body. He’s a divider who does not represent his Independent or Democratic constituents. He’s the leader of the anti vax anti mask deadly movement. He ultimately lost his lawsuit on behalf of his followers with Pritzker because it only applied to Bailey. I urge others to vet him and others with a Google search or comparable sources because the GOP has no vetting process of their own. Bailey fell deep in the rabbit hole with extremist radicals and it shows on the wrap on his bus with nothing but QAnon candidates. He runs a private school for home schoolers.

    just retired from 40+ years as a tool and die maker. My overall observation poor pay hadn't had real raise after year 2000, various health risks, fumes, back injury is super common along with hearing damage and the occasional missing digits , absolutely no status NO ONE has a clue of what you do . your labor is in direct competition with some guy in china , they could literally deliver a die at a lower price then we could get the the hardware and material for let alone doing any labor on it. There's a reason most of the class A toolmakers are over 60 and they can't find replacements.

    • @bradmiley7613
      @bradmiley7613 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I agree with all you said Chris, I am 59 years old and I'm now leaving the shop to make more money. The companies post a long list of required skills in their adds and then offer low pay. I refuse to offer my tool and die skills for less than $40 per hour while other trades are paying more. To those of you who are young I say look elsewhere for a trade. These Video are BS marketing to make it look good to get you young people into it.

      @@bradmiley7613 It could be locational or a generational thing? I don’t know why you would try to sway people from the trade, I work with guys over 50 now and know many who are over 50 and they don’t have any of the complaints you just mentioned, out of everyone I graduated with in my schooling was making over 30$ an hour coming out, with raises to come later on with experience and knowledge, plus add on cnc programming and experience? Maybe it is different state to state but here in Ky you can make 80k+ a year really without being in the trade 10+ years, I don’t see how that shouldn’t be attractive to anyone looking for a trade to get in

      Same. 45+ years since my apprenticeship. Things were pretty good for a while in the '90s, but the overall wage trajectory is down, way down. My annual income in 1983 (year I finished apprenticeship) was equivalent to $180,000 in 2024 dollars. It hasn't kept up.

    Notice they never mention pay. It varies a lot but tool and die is a high skill job which pays the same as a guy doing maintenance at a manufacturing plant. Sure you get paid for 4 years but it's Walmart pay and when you graduate it's less then a lot of Industrial tech guys with 2 year community college degrees.

    • @dwfonotWolf
      @dwfonotWolf 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      That isn’t the case everywhere, it depends on the company you work for and wether it is a ‘mom and pop shop’ or a medium to larger company, I am a tool maker on Ky and everyone I graduated schooling with including myself was making 25$ plus throughout the entire apprenticeship, I have had friends making 19$-40$, all depends on Company and Experience but it is by no means a low income Job as a whole
