Perfect Adhirasam Recipe... ... . . @vijaytelevision @zyar_recipes QUICK RECIPE Raw Rice- 500g Soak for 2 hours Drain water Dry for 10 minutes Rice should be little wet Grind corasly Sieve it & keep aside Jaggery-375 g Water -300 ml Boil Until soft ball consistency Add cardamom powder- 1/4 tsp Gingelly Oil-3 tbs Mix well Add ground Rice Flour mix gradually Mix well Finally Add 2 tbs ghee & Cover & rest for 2 days For deep fry.... Make small balls Flatten the flour Not too thin/ thick Deep fry - medium high flame Don't over cook Just fry for 1 minute When it attains golden brown Take out from oil & square it Serve when cool down completely Store in air tight container upto a month The taste will be better after 2 days... Here I'm using mixer jar to make poli dough easily without sticking in hand....sure this trick Wil reduce your time... Ingredients Maida / Wheat - 2 Cup (200 g ) Gingelly Oil- 3 tbs For pooranam Country sugar - 1.5 Cup Water - 1 Cup Grated Coconut - 3 Cup Cardamom Powder-1/4 tsp Ghee - 1 tsp NOTES: firstly, make sure to use fresh coconut for good flavour. also, if the pooranam is hard, then its difficult to spread so be careful while preparing pooranam... additionally, adding sesame oil makes the dough super stretchy.

Finger Millet or Ragi is a cereal widely consumed by the people of south India and many African countries. It is known as a wonder grain for weight loss. It is rich in calcium and has a high fibre content. It is considered to be the best aid for people suffering from diabetes. It is also a common baby food in south India. Babies that are 28 days old are fed ragi porridge and this helps in easy digestion. This will help strengthen the baby’s bones by providing high calcium and iron to the body. Demerit Kidney problems: Ragi has a high protein content that is not good for people with kidney diseases because it becomes difficult for the body to absorb excess protein. Severe constipation: Since ragi is digested slowly, its excess consumption can cause severe constipation problems Ragi powder : Ragi Wash 3 to 4 times thoroughly Drain water completely using any muslin cloth..
