I just Hope They Don't give up On The Evil within 3

Honestly can’t relate because the 1st one is more dynamic and wide then the second one. I played the 2nd one first and I had to say it was absolutely awful. Many times I ran out of ammo and the game had to spawn it in regardless of how many headshots I hit( a good example being the flamethrower boss). I have explored every single corner of the map chunks from the first chapter to I think it was 18-19 chapters in total and at the end it felt like they were pulling stuff out of their ass. Each chapter in the second one was 30-40 minutes and at the end it turned into 30-15, the second one was a solid 30-50 minutes for every chapter fully explored and was a million times more enjoyable. Quality obviously was better considering it’s the second one but as I said I explored every single corner and a lot of parts felt so unfinished and random. The only things I really liked was the eye in the sky and the underground dungeon part where the meet the evil pastor(again not memorable enough to remember anything about that game) I played the 1st one on survival with normal brightness and it’s one of the best games ever especially after I smacked a fat blinker and played in the dark. 1-100 the second one gets a good 95 and the second gets like a 30. I did love the free roam in the second one but it’s so unfinished and awful. “You have fully upgraded your character and guns with green gel but we are still going to make the enemies drop it” goes to show how trash the second one is. The second one has amazing lighting, Many puzzles and scenarios, different settings or biomes even, enemies drop everything you want. In the first one regardless of nightmare or akumu I always had enough ammo to kill normal enemies every now and then and unload on the bosses but for the second one all I could do was strafe and knife the bosses and I have to say it’s absolutely dog shit, searching for ammo in the second one was like trying to find a grain of salt on the beach. I explored every house, searched both locked safe houses, unlocked every crate after doing the mission with the black guy(not good enough of a game or character to remember) and scrambled all over the whole map. The first one has so many places to find things that help and if I did dislike one thing it was that some situations in a chase I didn’t have enough time to pick things up such as the doll head room in chapter 9 where I get chased by red pomegranate seeds and he follows me not letting me pick up every single thing I saw. That is the only thing I don’t like about the 1st one other then that it’s one of my top 3 favorite games alongside dying light and nfs 2015. I don’t know what your jig about the game is, too easy? Too hard? Idk but I recommend playing on survival and if you are past that try nightmare or akumu on 20 brightness or lower

The 2nd one felt like ghost recon breakpoint but with a shitty unfinished environment and zombies. I also don’t know how you played. Did you play in the dark with headphones and full blast? A second evil within game with no tension or gore? That’s like taking away weapons in dying light and making you give the zombies a high five. Instead when you kill them they dissolve into a puddle of cum. Absolute dog game. I had extremely high hopes when I first learned about victoriano (I think idk man) and explored the house seeing the frozen throat slashes and head splatters replay. I Hated the part where we fight the milk monster and the last 3 chapters is literally walking from the house on the hill and back. I first learned about the evil within 2 from coryxkenshin and it looked so hype. I did a 2 sitting play through and it made me so glad I got as a gift and didn’t spend money on it. The first one I got as a gift from my younger brother after i wouldn’t stop talking about wanting to get it and i loved it. I can’t even remember the sequence of what happens when in what chapters for the second one besides the ending and the start💀

But you are absolutely right the movement was beautiful and by no means was the ghost recon reference a bad thing. Head Stomping? Fuck yeah, backwards sneaking? Fuck yeah, back head stabbing? Fuck yeah, amazing strafing and dodging but at some point that only does so much to filter out how bad of a game the evil within 2 was. The 1st one was repetitive at times but it was a million times more enjoyable

@@baddyzaddy7050 all I got from this comment is that you’re picky spoiled and hypocritical. Whining about unfinished product? The 1st is literally textbook unfinished game. It struggles to fully load in environments. Acting is ps1 level bad. Graphics felt outdated during the time it released let alone now. Sebastian gets his leg nipped by a chainsaw, goes into an elevator that magically opens just in time, and comes out with no limp or scratch on his leg? Horrendously poor writing. The whole 1st game plays like it’s unfinished. And the 2nd still had several moments where there was still tension. Reading comprehension my boy. Just because it wasn’t as tense as the 1st (which shouldn’t count considering almost all of its tension is artificially made by bars covering the screen, clunky movement, one shot spamming enemies, and a character who can only sprint 3 seconds before keeling over) doesn’t mean it had 0 tension. You’re mad because the enemies turn into white puddles? It’s not any worse than the red bubbles/tiny dot particles they turn into in the 1st. I get everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but this is simply an L take all around. You factually can’t argue that the 2nd isn’t a head and shoulders improvement over the 1st. Mechanically and narrative wise. This is why Resident Evil is the one and only horror franchise that can sustain long term mainstream success. Because horror fans are way too picky and whiny.
