Jungleland Globen 2007 - Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band
a Skipjack production - The Hungry and the Hunted
captured at the Globe in Stockholm, Sweden, during the 2007 European leg of the Magic tour. The song was only played twice in 2007 prior to this night, namely in Madison Square Garden and later on at one of the last two stands at Bank North Garden, Boston. The song was requested from a lot of fans in Stockholm that night, and towards the end of the show Springsteen pulled this one out as a part of the encore.
This night is perhaps most known as one of Clarence more emotional nights. Bruce sometimes called him "the Godfather of Swedish soul", and this night he showed us all why that was the case. Big Man's son Christopher appeared as a guest on the saxophone during Dancing in the Dark, following a show filled with "We're not worthy" chants from the crowd every time Clarence was under the spotlight. That, preceded by an intense Jungleland, made Clarence refer to the show as "might [...] the best night of my life".
During his solo, Clarence showed all of us present at the Globe that night how giving people the best night of their lifes are supposed to be done. Elvis Presley is dead, Presley did not write this, the chorus is somewhat the same as the Wise-Weisman song , but the verses is all Bruce. Bruce should change the chorus musically a little bit, change the title, then it would be another Springsteen classic!!

To this day one of my favourite concert experiences, I was in highschool when I saw this show and this song blew my mind. I can only listen to this version now, it's just so good.
Springsteen was in his prime during the 70s & 80s. In 1978-1979 , "Darkness on the edge of Town" tour was the best of many great Springsteen Concerts over the years. I've been to well over 100 Springsteen Concerts over the last 57 years. There is no one that comes close to Springsteen in concert. Dylan & the Stones both sound like sh*t in concert compared to Bruce who sounds better in concert than in studio. I've been to well over 1,000 concerts in the past 57 years and Elton John & Eric Clapton are two other Music A that has always sounded great in concert. I was very lucky to see Harry Chapin in concert several times before he died as well as the Doors & Jimmi Hendrix, Janis Joplin during the 60s. Neil Young and U2 were very good as well. Greetings from Asbury Park has some of the greatest lyrics/poetry of all-time. Very Dylanesque!!
