Community Action Partnership of Sonoma County has been partnering with low income families and individuals to help them achieve economic and social stability; to build community, and to advocate for social and economic justice since 1967 and has a rich history and strong allies here in Sonoma County.

inRESPONSE is designed to respond to calls for service with a mental health first approach. The team is comprised of a licensed mental health clinician, a paramedic, a homeless outreach specialist, and supported by a wrap-around support services providers. The inRESPONSE team is trained in de-escalation and social work interventions as well as physical and mental health evaluations.

This afternoon session we heard from SSU History Professor Amy Kittelstrom, Ph.D, and research fellows Juliana Chand and Jeremy Medrano as they share about the Sonoma County Slavery Historical Research Project, their process, findings and insights. Q&A held the final 25 minutes. Audio quality may be difficult in the beginning.

We heard from Sonoma State University's team from the Office for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. Housed under the Office of the President, this reflects Sonoma State's commitment to educational, ethical, and administrative leadership on issues of DEI.
