I found Georges incorrect Edward Heath answer, funny in the final. It's hard to be tactful when trying to take a guess at which 'rotund' Tory MP lost weight, because you are indirectly calling them fat.

Totally baffling. That was his one chance, he could have spent the rest of his life saying that he won an episode of Fifteen to One and instead he threw it away with no one to blame but himself. I could understand this strategy from a previous winner but to try it on your first go is just unfathomable.

There were two Davids in the final and David Kilner kept saying 'nominate David in the middle'. I know he was trying not to confuse matters, but there was no need to be so specific. If he's nominating, then there is only one other David to nominate. The only person who needed to specify which David to nominate, was Stephen.

After watching countless old episodes of 15-1, all I can say is, I'm glad William G decided to be a TV host rather than a judge. Yet again he disallowed what I thought to be a perfectly reasonable answer from Terry. To my mind, his answer of 'continuous' is close enough to 'sustained', but William G thought otherwise.

I laughed when Jeremy got Mickey Rooney mixed up with Cheeta, in the final.

Oh dear. William G is at it again, disallowing perfectly acceptable answers. This time it was poor William's turn to be wrongly penalised. 'Possession is 9/10ths of the law" is just as valid an answer as 'Possession is 9 points of the law' William G really was sloppy in his research and yet again shows that he had no real knowledge of some of the questions he was asking.

Poor Andrew. Champagne is simply a sparkling wine and so his answer, 'wine', was correct. Anyway, wine can be kept in a Methuselah as well as Champagne. William G really was a bugger for disallowing perfectly correct answers (and also for allowing incorrect answers). I don't think he often had knowledge of the subjects he was asking about - but then, why should he, he was only the host. This is still my favourite quiz ever.

It must have been awful if you got let off with a dodgy answer and then a lot of the following people you nominated got theirs wrong. I'd have felt a bit guilty.

It makes me smile how William G was such a stickler when it came to pronunciation and yet, at the beginning of the show, he used to say 'so if you're ready ladies and 'jelman', instead of 'gentleman'. He used to also pronounce 'medicine' as 'medsin' as though it only contained 2 vowels. I still love 15 to 1 though.

A lot of the questions on this show were incredibly difficult. It seems to me that not just any Tom, Dick and Harry could appear on 15 to 1. You had to be really sharp.

Strange looking bunch

Some of William's interpretations of contestants' answers have always been rather suspect. I counted at least 3 instances in this episode where he showed a lack of judgement and knowledge on subjects. Correct answers were given, but not exactly as written on his cards.

Tony's chewing really annoyed me. What did that short little woman say before she covered her mouth?

To say that William was such a stickler for correct pronunciation I can't understand why he insisted on pronouncing medicine as 'medsin'. It sounds silly and childish and I've never known a single person pronounce it that way.

The other viewers could at least give you a thumbs up. Thanks for your channel 👍✌️
