I have fond memories eating this with straight soy sauce. The way the soy permeates the crispy, fluffy egg is out of this world. Bite of omelette with a bite of rice , it's the way to go.

Это для тех, кто сыр не очень любит для продвинутых сырных гурманов достаточно устроить пожар на складе с сыром и бросить внутрь пачку макарон, дальше по ситуации
My variation of this beautiful dish: you buy a whole cheese head (the one with holes), put some semi-ready pasta pieces inside each hole, put the head into the baking pan and bake until your cheese is melted and nice golden. This is optimal for those who don't like cheese that much. The real cheese folks are buying the cheese warehouse, setting it on fire and throwing a pack of pasta inside. Next, just play it by ear...

I've never used eggs, what is the purpose? I make mac all the time but I'm always looking to level up.

@@PeteEats It's not, I have never used egg, aside from making the pasta to make mac and cheese. also looks a bit dry, would have been better to mkake a creamy sauce, and then add shredded cheese, for a nice pull.
