Video Game music remakes
I've always liked RPG music. They make us dream, they make us sad or exalt us. Sometimes they are real masterpieces that turn us upside down.
I like to play music. So making remakes of these musics is a real pleasure for me. These reorchestrations are sometimes close to the original, sometimes very different.
I hope you'll like them ^^

Final Fantasy 7 - JENOVA (Pulsar Version)
JENOVA is the central antagonist of Final Fantasy VII. This entity, whose goal is the downfall or decay of civilizations, was discovered by the Cetra millennia ago and fought against, although they were unable to completely destroy it. More recently, it was rediscovered by Shinra, which exploited it through experiments that resulted in planetary disasters. Although JENOVA does not directly manipulate events, its insidious and perverse influence spreads slowly but powerfully through various means, particularly through Sephiroth, who becomes the main executor of its destructive will. Its presence plunges the planet into chaos, forcing the heroes to confront increasingly desperate situations, with heartbreaking and tragically sad personal losses.
JENOVA's theme, composed by Nobuo Uematsu, is very dynamic and features both a unique atmosphere and a chaotic energy. I’ve always felt that this composition would lend itself particularly well to the trance genre. So here's my version, entitled Pulsar, for the added energy brought by trance, as well as for the evocation of the cosmic aspect.
Beautiful Artwork of JENOVA by K-Koji.

Secret of Mana - Star of Darkness

Secret of Mana is a legendary A-RPG from the SNES. I have lot of memories of it, such as the beautiful soundtrack composed by Hiroki Kikuta. And particularly Star of Darkness that I loved how it sounds! It has a beautiful melody and darkness sonorities. For my version, I tried to respect the original vision, and I also choose to intensify the darkness by adding organ in the middle of the song. ...

Final Fantasy VI Opera - Aria di Mezzo Caratere (feat Elena Borroni)
มุมมอง 4192 ปีที่แล้ว
Aria di Mezzo Caratere, the Opera theme from Final Fantasy VI, is one of the best pieces of the game, and even of the series. The scene itself is a gem, with a beautiful staging and scenery, sublimated by the wonderful composition of Nobuo Uematsu. For this orchestration, I tried to put my vision, with notably a lot of strings. And above all, I collaborated with Elena Borroni. She is an Italian...

Naruto - Sadness and Sorrow (Ambient version)

Sadness and Sorrow is such a beautiful theme. Very emotional. And it suits very well the sad scenes of Naruto. It's a great composition! I tried to make a less sad but more melancholic adaptation. Final Fantasy VI - Celes Theme

Celes is one of the main characters of Final Fantasy VI. She represents the symbiosis of strength and gentleness, but above all, she represents the courage to question the system. @@JasonDeRoeck Merci beaucoup !
@@JasonDeRoeck Merci beaucoup 🙏
Trippy. I like this!
@@dpadfanfare Ha ha! Thank you :) I've been wanting to create an explosive version for a long time. I'm very glad you like it!

Such a wonderful rendition of this song.
Oops, sorry I hadn't replied in 3 months. Anyway, thanks for your comment; I'm glad you liked my version with the added strings and drums:)
That Italian singing here with the orchestral backing is quite impressive. Excellent as usual!

Ooo haunted :3 lovely

I see what you mean about "more traditional" but it's beautiful nonetheless :) <3
Thanks a lot :) In general, my versions are more traditional in terms of style, although I often add small or large modifications (depending on my vision) or even different intros. If you want some examples, listen to my version of the Prelude (crystal theme) from FF7 or my versions of songs from FF9, or my version of Dancing Mad from FF6, or even my Star of Darkness (Secret of Mana) version, which has an organ part.

The best (and realist) character in any Final Fantasy. Imperfect, Flawed, in nearly every sense. Not always a good person (at times a terrible person). But real and relatable. They could literally make him the hero of his own spinoff and I would be tearing down the doors to get it. I just truly hope they dont mess him up in the remake. He is the one character that if they mess up, may ruin the remakes for me. Noone is as perfect as the characters in many of these games. We are between good and bad. This is us.
Sorry for the delay in my reply. You're absolutely right and I completely agree with you. Cid is one of the most interesting characters. His imperfection makes him particularly human and close to us, who are made up of qualities and (sometimes dark) flaws. Of light and darkness.
The original song is a masterpiece, and you gave it beautiful details and texture. Thank you for making and posting this for us
Thank you very much. I'm touched by your words.
This part in Dancing Mad is my most favorite in the entire piece, like it's the calm right before you're thrown back into the whirling storm of madness
Exactly! Always be wary of what seems calm...
Why do so many (including you) leave out the accidental at 0:19? Bad ear training?
The added intro fits so well
Thanks a lot. I'm glad you like it!
Well done sir
Thank you :)
Keep on dreaming, everyone. Be like Cid. We will all fly, one day soon. ❤🌠

need to be honest, but the mana franchise has one of the greatest osts that i have ever heard, i have heard thousands of soundtracks, and many of them are really good. but there's something about mana that i dunno, it just kinda hit different. spirit of the night as an example, it just hit me different. but regardless all of that, great job.
Thank you! I completely agree with you; there's a special spirit in the Mana series, especially with Secret of Mana, where the compositions touch on so many genres in such a beautiful way. I'm also considering reworking one of the tracks again. If you have any suggestions, feel free to let me know :)

It's been a while since this was posted, but this came up in recommended and I'm blown away. I love how you kept the feeling of loneliness and desolation from the original piece in here, but made something really fresh sounding. I love it!

Thank you Elena 😊
The feels... Rachel never fails to make me feel emotional and cry every time I remember her tragic story, or even when I hear her theme. This remix definitely succeeds in capturing the emotional feel that the original did for me, nicely done.

Recorded a little too loud, you have access to a limiter? Set it at -1db... there was some peak distortion in there.... but even still love the song. And absolutely love this game!

Great collaboration! A very beautiful piece. The strings are so deep and beautiful, and the voice of Elena is so sweet. I loved this song!
Thank you very much Chana. It's a pleasure to read your compliments, and I'm happy you loved our work :)
Oh hey, new upload. Noice. Really love the voice of the singer - props to her. As for the rest of the piece, I think the horns can do with being more prominent. They're being pretty drowned out by the strings as it stands. To a lesser extend, this also applies to the basses.
Hey Nailik! I'm glad to hear from you :) Thank you :) You're right, Elena has a beautiful voice and it was a pleasure to collaborate with her. About the horns, I'll make a try :)
@@michaelhope8442 For future reference: Brass is generally the loudest part of the orchestra, woodwinds the quietest. There are exceptions, and it also depends on the instrument's register, but when arranging, this is a good guide to follow. Hope it helps. :D
