Sedona: 5 Great Hikes in Red Rock and Vortex Country
What is it about Sedona that keeps calling me back? Is it the stunning red rock buttes that rise up randomly from the valley floor? Or is it the natural made bridges and caves with prior civilizations significance? Or maybe its all the hiking trails and energy inducing vortexes that need to be explored and enjoyed.
I’ve been to Sedona several times and I never get tired of it, and when I leave I actually can’t wait to come back. I mostly enjoy the hiking trails in and around Sedona, enjoying the subtle vortex energy coming out of the earth below. Whether I’m getting a workout climbing Cathedral Rock or slowly meandering along Oak Creek, I always feel refreshed and energized afterwards.
Sedona is a magical place, known for its magnificent Red Rocks, spiritual vortexes and ancient and sacred sites. Whether you come to Sedona to hike in the beauty of the spires, buttes and historical sites or to meditate among the mystical vortexes of positive energy and self healing, you’ll leave refreshed and know why Sedona keeps calling you back.
In this video I cover Cathedral Rock, The Subway Cave, Devil's Bridge, The Birthing Cave, Oak Creek.

Grand Canyon: Rim to Rim 24 Mile Day Hike
มุมมอง 28K2 ปีที่แล้ว
Follow my journey through Grand Canyon on a Rim to Rim 24 Mile Day Hike. I got an early 4:00am start to try to beat the over 100* temps at the bottom of the canyon. Starting at North Rim of Grand Canyon on the North Kaibab Trail, I made a stop at Ribbon Falls, then hiked through The Box to Phantom Ranch, then across the Colorado River and up the Bright Angel Trail through Indian Garden and up t...

The Swiss Alps-Hiking 100 Miles
มุมมอง 8K10 ปีที่แล้ว
Hiking 100 miles in 11 days through the Swiss Alps on the Haute Route. The Haute Route, is the name given to a route undertaken on foot or by ski touring between Chamonix in France and Zermatt in Switzerland. Our diverse group of 12 trekkers included 76 year old Jimmy Shetterly and he out-hiked us all! The Alps had the most snow in 37 years, so even though it was mid-summer, we encountered much...

Sutter Buttes
มุมมอง 4.7K11 ปีที่แล้ว
In the midst of California's broad Sacramento Valley, an isolated cluster of small mountain peaks rise abruptly above the populated and cultivated valley floor. Standing rugged and raw in stark contrast to the surrounding development below, they draw our eyes, indeed our very souls, today just as they have intrigued those before us. The indigenous Maidu, who lived in their shadow for thousands ...

magnificent! love the narration and the views. My Spouse and I are coming soon- July for 8 nights in the JUNGRAO Region. soo excited. I'm planning for my second visit eventually and stay in the Mountain Hotels you suggested. Wish I saw this earlier before I booked earlier. The Reason to keep coming back in this Heaven On Earth. sooo beautiful LORD, GOD. Thank you. very much.
I guess I did it all wrong last week. We did R2R2R with an overnight rest at the N. Rim Lodge--just over 50 miles. We left at 8:00am for the first crossing, starting at S. Kaibab, and 9:00 am for the return via Bright Angel. It was great. I'm not a runner, just an average 65 yr old hiker. You can do it! Drink all the time, and don't push too hard in the beginning--save up for a finishing sprint! hehehe
Luxury hotel dan resort...
❤ Thanks!
This is fantastic!
Did they get rid of the mules?

It was great seeing you last evening at the game. I forgot to have you say hello to Linda 3/4/23 Gary
Hey Gary...it was great seeing you too!
I did this hike two years ago with my 34 year old son and we're going back this year to do it again. I'll be 69 years old when we do the hike in May.
Amazing
Wow
Great video! I hiked Grand Canyon 3 times. It seems always in rush. Never got chance to shoot some good video and pictures. Thanks for sharing yours.
Congrats on a very nice video. Two weeks ago I completed the "Dreaded" South Kaibab to North Kaibab R2R, solo, at the age of 72. Brutal hike. For me it completed my R2R2R, but I agree with you, the easiest (and smartest) way to do an R2R is NK to BA. That ascent up NK to the trailhead is extremely challenging from Cottonwood to the trailhead.
It's beautiful
Beautiful video!

Bill, you’ve certainly found your “niche”!! Bravo Bellissimo❤❤
Fantastic video my friend!!
10:51 That's the Aletsch glacier. Apparently, it will soon be an ex-glacier.
I love schweiz 🇨🇭🥰❤️
Hi Bill, despite the fact that I grew up and still live in a Swiss ski resort in Valais, in the heart of the Swiss Alps, I never get tired of seeing videos as yours. Thank you for that and it’s nice to see how much enjoyment you get while traveling in the Alps. In my own town of Crans-Montana, I can suggest you to stay at the cabane des Violettes that is overlooking the Rhône valley and facing across it, the most prestigious mountains of the Alps (the imperial Crown), such as Matterhorn, Weisshorn, Dent Blanche, Obergabelhorn, Dom, etc.. and even the Mont Blanc towards the west. It’s a hut that is in the middle of the ski slopes and therefore can be reached by gondolas in winter as well as in summer. If you’d rather walk to it, it would take about 1 1/2 hours from the town going uphill in a sporty hike. Perhaps on your next trip? Check it out on line😎and take care
I have spent some time in that general area in the valley; in Sierre and Salgesch shooting a wine video. After that we made it up to Leukerbad. I'll have to check out Cabane des Violettes someday. Thank you for the tip!
@@billehman1 definitely. You can contact me since you have my full name and location . I’ll be glad to show you around 😀
@@SuperBechti Thank you!
We go to Wengen every summer, learned so much here! Gorgeous videography!
Thank you so much
I love your voice. So great
The clouds and skies are truly vibrant and stunning. Mountains and scenic views are amazing indeed. Thank you for the lovely and wonderful tour. Guten tag.
Krásné záběry , hezky udělané video 👍🌼
Děkuji!
Wonderful natural scenery and mountain hotel, really great, thanks for sharing beautiful video and useful information congratulations 🙏
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Might I suggest the Hörnlihütte at 3260mt on the Matterhorn? I've been several times as a day-tripper, but I'd love to stay overnight! You can take the cable car to Schwarzsee and walk from there. Likewise, the Glecksteinhütte above Grindelwald is a world class adventure, although some mountain experience would be good.
Beautiful! So much history to this amazing citythanksdoc
