4:00 terrible description of a turbocharger system... The turbine (not fan) is driven by the exhaust, using some of the exhaust energy to drive the impeller/compressor (not fan) to compress the air flowing into the engine. It isn't to make the air go faster, it's to get more air into the engine so you can burn more fuel, so you produce more power... Not really within the scope of the video at all, so it's understandable. Virtually all diesel engines in automobiles these days are turbocharged, so it's not special or aftermarket...

Great build!! I've done a similar build with my Gen 1 Cayenne, I did find that mcc of the Eurowise stuff was problematic, half the hardware wasn't anodized and hardware was missing, they missed the paid for light bar (got a refund but what a pain to try to get duties and taxes back). Also I will never purchase with any US company again that ships with UPS what an unbelievable rip off!!

VERY NICE! Do you mod the Cayenne 955 with all the similar off-road products? Many 955 Cayenne owners are considering these kinds of mods.

Very interested in this build; glad to see ya doing it!! Since the 2nd generation Cayenne doesn’t have the transfer case with low gearing is it really as capable as the 957 Gen 1 Cayennes? How does the diesel compare in off-road conditions? seems to me this a less capable machine than a cheaper Gen 1. Why spend the money to make this an off-roader? (before ya all hop all over me as a “hater”; I currently own a 2015 Diesel and struggling to justify the off-road upgrades) Eager to see the car in action.
