God is never distant. He is always there, with his arm stretched toward us, waiting for us to come back to Him. We don't need to travel any distance to come closer to God, he's only a prayer away.

I’ll go to church every day for the next year if someone can answer this question to my satisfaction: If it says in several different places that you should not alter the bible in any way, why do we look at the translated (and dumbed down for public use) versions of the Bible and consider them accurate word by word? (To explain what I mean by dumbed down: no translation is accurate to the original languages connotations, and theres plenty of documentation analyzing what the original meaning of Bible verses actually was compared to the translated versions. You can also look at the word Yahweh and Yeshua being removed from the Bible as another example) If you consider your experiences reading the Bible to be a measure of your relationship with God, wouldn’t true believers learn the original language it was written in? We have access to the Dead Sea scrolls and the languages used to read them. Would reading a watered down bible make you further from God? Are you truly devoted if you don’t travel the 900 miles (aka read it in the original language)? Idk, that’s why I’m asking :) I might sound opinionated but I’m really looking for a real answer here. Other optional questions that have never been properly answered: -If God’s will cannot be explained by the human mind, why do we let other humans tell us what His will is throughout scripture and believe them without second thought? -if every branch of Christianity worships the “right way” according to tradition, who’s the truest Christian? Is it the Methodists, the Protestants, the Presbyterians? Do the wrong branches just end up in hell? I get the sense that the Biblical definition of a “perfect Christian” would not fit the current moral standards of most modern churches… -If Jesus died for our sins bc he loves us UNCONDITIONALLY and didn’t want us to sufer in hell, why didn’t he just do that for everyone, not just the believers? Wouldn’t that be the truest kindness? Would it be because the taint of sin isn’t allowed in heaven? Why wouldn’t he just erase the presence of sin at the front gates of heaven? Since that’s not the case, does he simply love us unconditionally until it’s too late for us to repent on our own? That’s… just not unconditional is it?

God loves a cheerful giver, also you don't have to give to the church because it's not required. Eternal investment is when you bare fruit loke sharing the Gospel and doing things in a Godly way.

It's not about investing your money in God kingdom, it's concern your faith in God kingdom. People that love the world wouldn't put their heart in the kingdom of God so their treasure is on the earth while people who believe in the Lord Jesus and which are kind will find their treasure in heaven.

You must keep some to protect your family but share with others as God directs you to do. Invest your trust in God 🙏
