Using another computer and a USB flash drive, download the latest BIOS file from the HP website and create a BIOS USB recovery drive for the PC that needs recovery. Yeah. Not a bulletproof, when the HDD/ SSD failed (hardware error) But trust me, it is a first-aid everyone must know and activated. Cloning or image backup is another layer of safety net should there be a hardware failure. You can easily deploy it on another device and move on.

This happens a lot on TH-cam with people from other countries who publish in English, rather than their own mother-tongue, and maybe because their English is very good and they feel confident about it, they speak quickly as if they were talking to their friends. Unfortunately for them, they don't realize that to native speakers who are used to English being spoken by their own mother-tongue culture and population (which is 98% of us!), it sounds like inaudible gibberish. Very difficult to listen to. You simply need to pronounce words properly and correctly, and speak slowly. Listen to mother-tongue speakers on TH-cam, then listen to your own videos again, and learn the difference. Also you're voice is low and your speech very "monotone", which makes it even more difficult to discern what you're saying. Good luck

Not all named parts on the schematics is available on the board. There'll be a sign that will indicate the part was not included. Another method is to compare the PCB with another exact type

Get the datasheet for the chip, identify what those pins are. I don't have the board with me.

That means cpu vcore is missing. Check the resistance of the cpu vcore

Sir, i took reading from the first one, zero voltage is ?inductor marking L6610 (R24-532-ZBA) (near cpu), then i check the back of motherboard as ur video (8pin, v393RDA, marking as u7400) its first pin also no voltage at all. Sorry to tell u that i m just a beginner. if i make something to annoye you, plz forgive me.

Does that mofset not have significant purpose, I mean I didn’t see you replacing it with another one 2. Will it perform like when it was new when the shorted mofset has not been removed

No. I didn't turn it on the board. I just checked if the downward is supplying voltage. In summary, what made the phone work was disconnecting and connecting the battery. Yes, you are absolutely right. For X1 carbon, the front bezel only keeps the screen in place. The screen is safely secured because, the front bezel has double sided tapes that sealed the screen against the frame. However, in some laptops with frameless screen, they use different method. The double sided tape would be applied behind the screen. All methods are safe.

@@A4orce84 No. The double sided tape is on the front bezel only. You'll find it there in yours. I don't think you need to replace the ones found there except the ones there have become very weak.
