They be putting me on the stations closest to the PA desk , I'm guessing cause I have a pretty high rate. I love it though. I used to be in ship dock. Now I do flex and I get to choose when I work, I love it. Amazon is not as bad as people make it out to be.

The best thing working at Amazon did for me was the fact that I could add “using heavy machinery” on my resume to get my job at the airport. I met plenty of awesome people there, but that’s where the good parts end for me. I started at a warehouse when it first opened in 2020 and for the first year, it was pretty good. My managers were actually friendly people and a couple of them were people I’d converse with on a regular basis. Once they moved up in the company and went to different buildings, in came new managers and instant problems. Suddenly, people like me that had been there since the building’s launch were being treated less fairly than the new hires which I swore got dumber and dumber every time they hired more. But the worst was the Safety Team, what a useless group of idiots. And to put the cherry on top of the sundae, they fired me in 2022 a month before my wedding. Fucking dicks.

I worked at Amazon as a packer. Got labored shared to help with totes on the fourth floor where all pickers and stowers are at… that looks fucking miserable. Made me enjoy my department more especially since I have better access to the bigger break room and Human Resources.

Sad to see people taking amazon serious. A lot of people be doing extra for this company. Conditions are trash. Instead of spending money on new equipment for our work stations they go and spend it on cardboard cutouts of managers smh. Let's not get started on how the managers get chick fil a and all kinds of other stuff while they give us old stale ass bag of chips, hot juice and expired ass snacks. People gotta know their self worth especially working at amazon. Manager's are lazy asf btw. Sitting in front of a laptop all day. Can't even get a thank you out them.

What chaps my hide is not Amazon itself but their delivery drivers. They know about porch pirates and USPS mail theft but do little to nothing to thwart theft. It may not be in their job description but I would highly appreciate it if they would ring the doorbell. This would also help with alerting people that use doorbell cams. That way packages dont have to sit out all day like grab bags for scumbags.
