Hi @harfast10, I'm sorry but with this model what you describe is not possible. The Multi-reel's purpose is to guarantee tangle free release and protect leads in transit, to maintain functionality and sturdiness, it does not come apart. We have had this question once before by someone in the AV industry,. And for those of you with 100 leads and no desire to carry around 100 cases, a tool that simply speeds up the process of making good coils is on our list for future product developments.

@@flatoutinternational Thank you for the response. I supply various lengths of poly tube for water treatment. I've sourced a meter counter but it would be good to have a rlight weight reel with a quick release side so I could bundle it up. Can you recommend anything?

Hi Nick, it works really well for that purpose actually. You do have to straighten the hose out first to get the water all the way through it, but once that happens the pressure keeps the rounded shape. It is 19mm on the inside (not 12mm like normal ones) the water pressure has a lot more power to prevent the kinks because the amount of water coming out the sprayer end so much less than the amount of water traveling through the hose. Hi Dean, I asked Manda on your behalf (as this is a snippet of a longer video from their channel), here is her reply: "We had 3 cables rolled at once, 2 x 5m cables, and 1 x 10m cable that we doubled over to be equal to the 5m lengths, then wound all together at the same time :) I hope that makes sense :) " Basically 20m worth fitted in the compact, we also have larger multi-reels if your leads are somehow longer than that. 😎 Cheers, Zoe from Flat Out

Hi @bonzoAU thanks for reaching out. There are a couple of tricks that may help you have more joy with your Flat Out hose if you are having trouble with kinks. I'll share the common fixes here for anyone else reading this too, but we are always happy to offer advice over the phone for anyone having specific issues. 1. when you unspool the hose and there is surplus length (the van is near the tap) make a few loops (about 1m diameter - under pressure our hose has a wide bend radius) with that surplus length before connecting to the van. once the hose is full of water you can smooth out any elbows that may have formed. 2. when packing up, after de-pressurising the line, detach the hose at both ends. Straighten the hose out so that the water has somewhere to go as you wind it up, the tap end of the hose over a drain. . Load the van end of the hose into the multi-reel and walk back towards the drain as you wind. 3. If needed, partway along your winding, place your foot on the hose so you can get some tension on the hose as you tighten the hose that has already been wound in, this will help you get the full length of hose back onto the Multi-Reel. Hi Lord, the hose comes in 2 lengths (either 2x3m or 3m+6m) so thaty ou just get off the piece you need and join them if you want the full distance. This way you can leave hose you're not using on the Multi-Reel and it gives you better flow to use a straighter run. :)
