It would still work, but for the initial moment. This is because, the oxygen being released at the positive electrode will react with the copper to form copper oxide, which is not conductive. So the current stops flowing, and the reaction stops. Graphite/carbon is generally used as electrodes in electrolysis because they hardly react with the oxygen and hydrogen being released. @@mechtrontech Yes, in classes, apart from general tests, we have projects, at the beginning of the school year we made electrical installations using, for example: a solar controller, a solar panel, a constant-voltage converter, large battery, etc. Currently, we are making an installation in class in which the panel would charge the battery and power the lamp, and we place the meter, fuses and switches in the electrical box. It may look difficult but it's pure logic :) I'm only 16 years old so I won't be the best in electronics right away😅

@@mechtrontech Another cool thing was the trip in that semester where we went with our class to Warsaw (the capital of Poland), Where the exhibition of equipment related to Renewable Energy Sources took place. It was a very cool event and took place in a huge hall! After some time, the company producing heat pumps will provide us with a heat pump with which we can exercise. The teacher will also take us to internships where we will be able to practice better. It will probably be in the Mountains, where the heat pump company "Kołton" is located 😀

For the one I used, they are called Cree LEDs, just like the type used in EDC flashlights, cree Leds usually run on 24v. Pls let me know if your question is answered. Thanks!

The bulb is made of regular LEDs, however, fluorescent bulbs work best for this Tesla coil set up. I'd recommend you use florescent bulbs, they light up brightly.

There's a virtual (imaginary) capacitance from the output terminal of secondary coil to the ground. This forms an LC resonant circuit with the secondary coil, and it's responsible for the output frequency.

It's around 3-4 kilovolts

Pry/Sec Ratio is 2:500 Input voltage is 12v, sorry I forgot to include that in the video. That makes the output equals 12 × 500/2 = ~3000. Since my sec turns was 500+, the output is now around 3-4 kv. I hope you got it, thanks!
