A camera de video foi tomada pela Garagem Suprema, corrompeu a gravação toda e inutilizou o cartão de memória, isso foi o que deu pra recuperar. O audio foi tirado direto da mesa.
Killed it
Incredible!!!!!
Best song! Back when I was "It Guy" and so popular! WTH happened?!
is that peewee herman?
Always gets stuck in my head! They sounded incredible live in this performance. ❤️
I worked this show .. AOL SESSIONS !! IM just now seeing this footage
A little late to ask, buy what was it like?
So envious of you right now 😂
Out of the blue this song came to mind. Thanks for posting it.
This brings me right back to the time, the feeling at clubs. LOVED them!
" what am I going to do John... the queen of England has died today...
The very beginnings of the English Invasion🎵
Shoot shoot, the song is classic
Too fast
I need an order 🙏🇺🇲😍
Epic
No rhythm garbage, stealing money smh
. :19 into the song and drummer knocks over the high-hat. They must have hated these fake performances. Old Gray Whistle was so much better.
Another on my first WLIR mixed tape!
Awesome!!
At least they had cords.
I need an order !!! Love love men in uniform!!!!!
RIP Andy Gill 😔 ...part of the soundtrack of my youth
Loved them!!!
I love a man in uniform !!!!! Awesome song !!!!
Sara Lee is such a solid bassist, in every band she joins.
When all the post-hardcore bands mentioned they were fans of GoF, I couldn’t figure out why they raved about some funky new romantic pop band. Most Americans had no clue about their early records.
Hi Marc B, perhaps if you listen to GoF's earlier material it may become clearer to you why GoF are referenced as being so influential for a band that continue to fly under so many people's radar. It is not surprising that - as you claim - most Americans do not remember GoF as most Brits don't remember them either! They are however remembered by those of who were at the time into all the post punk music that had contained a bit more musical substance, attitude and innovation, energy, excitement, and ideas that genuinely not only challenged the ideology of capitalism but pointed a spotlight towards an alternative. For those reasons - and more - many of us will always love the GoF! Particularly the original line-up and the first EP and album! :) th-cam.com/video/JFU_1h7io0Y/w-d-xo.html
really cool trumpet on this performance
trombone. just saying
voice string trombone pull me forward onward to the sea
Angry young mannequin American, apparently
Great song ...Flash back my years in high school.
Agiten, amargos de mierda
I can see how Flea of the Red Hot Chili Peppers was a big fan
Andrew Swift If I am not wrong, Andy Gill produced RHCP's debut.
Ha, yes, "uniform" is what I'd call it!
So cool...
NEVER gets old :-D
nossa, muito boa a qualidade, Parabéns! você gravou também a ultima musica tocada por ele nesse dia?
sarah lee
Something went very wrong with this band after 1982.
Hard is quite funky IMO.
We should have been there lol!
Gay and a half. Not that there's anything wrong with that.
Ms. Lee is, but no-one else in the group, to my knowledge.
Why the holy hell is the original video not available on youtube?
I saw them twice after the Hard album and after the 20 year hiatus. They were still superb Jon King was just manic. I am glad that this has Hugo in it. How they treated him was a real shame. I'm glad that he had a life outside of the Gang.
I was thinking of this song yesterday, hadnt heard it since 1982 ish??And here it is on here; youtube; a modern day time machine:)love it.
the crowd sucks
Simply brilliant! Love the satire.
Greatest anti-yuppie hit ever.
One of my favorite bands from the 1980's.
cross the street from your! store front cemetery!
Thanks for this --brings back the times i saw them-----actually a lot of their songs are the best songs ever.......There may be oil under rockall
The singer dances like he's high on meth.
@diegoaraujo1 Ciao! Even though I was a 16 yr old kid in the States in 1982, when this was being played by all the alternative rock stations, and there were few, having come out of our engagement in Vietnam, the social criticism within this song, was well understood! If I recall correctly, because of the "Flaklands War", this song was baned from the airwaives in Thatchers' Britian!Even now many of the lyrics seem apropos! Grazie! Blaine
Oh man - i played this to death. So glad I kept the "extended re-mix" on vinyl. Its, like, 10 minutes...
